Except for the funny Geico commercials, I don't see many of them walking around.. So you're always saying that no missing link exists and that why don't humans have an ancestor?

I guess you don't acknowledge the Neanderthal. But then again, if you believe in Creationism, there are many things that exist that you don't acknowledge....like facts.

Ummm, Neandertals are a dead end in evolution. They died out long ago. They aren't the missing link. I understand what you're trying to do, but you don't seem to understand human evolution so your explanation will fail.

They're also not directly related to us but are a relative as it's believed that they came from the same long ago common ancestor.

Specifically, the Neandertals are a distant relative. Same genus, different species.

Unfortunately some people on here are so uninformed about the nature of human evolution that they're under the mistaken impression that a "half human half ape" is needed when of course it isn't.

It's called evolution and we didn't jump from ape to human. People don't seem able to understand that the ape is a COUSIN to us. So, I'll scream it so they can get it.

HUMANS DID NOT EVOLVE FROM APES, WE EVOLVED FROM A COMMON ANCESTOR.

Maybe some of the uneducated will actually understand it but I doubt it.

You know, as a Christian, I really don't appreciate you're question. Non-Christians always act like Christians should be so accepting of everything, but then they try their best to cut us down. I believe that humans were CREATED --- in the image of God. And, by the way, that IS a fact, also.

Next time you try to cut down Christians and anyone else believing in creation, think your question out a little bit better. You say that we don't acknowledge the Neanderthal in the sense you are talking about, but at the same time you state that you don't see any walking around either. You are admitting that there are no neanderthals. Everytime a 3,000,000 year old "human ancestral bone" is found, there is a big hype about it and then they find out it's a pig bone or something and everyone hushes up about it.There are no facts supporting evolution. Pick up a pro-evolution book and read about it. There are so many ifs and maybes --- not facts.

Neanderthals were not "sub-humans" as portrayed on Geico commercials. It only shows how ignorant Geico is. Neanderthals were perfectly normal humans. You could dress them up and walk them down the street and you wouldn't know any different. I think the Geico sub-humans would be pretty recognizable.
The people living before the Flood lived in an atmosphere that allowed them to grow to be 9-12 foot giants who could live for hundreds of years. After the Flood, this atmosphere changed, and human size and lifespan began to drop to 400, to 200, and today not many people make it to 100. Post-Flood humans during the Ice Age were still robust like the Antediluvians, but they were getting shorter and not living as long. They still lived a few hunded years, and you should know that when a person gets over 100 years, their facial bones start growing. Have you ever looked at the size of a really old person's nose and ears? They get huge. The skull starts to thicken. This is an actual medical condition.
The first Neanderthal skeletons they found showed evidence of arthritis, so this "bending over" was only typical of an old man with arthritis. He's going down, not coming up. Other skeletons have been found that are perfectly healthy modern humans, but evolutionists don't know what to do with these, because, according to their faulty interpretation of rock ages, they believe the bones are too old to be modern humans, so they call them "archaic Homo Sapiens".
So, don't swallow the "Neanderthal brute" myth. Please read "The Evolution Cruncher" by Vance Ferrell in the part about human fossils. I think you will be astonished by how much you've been lied to.

If they were a link to humans, where is the evidence of the 10,000 other links necessary to connect humans with the next closest species? The fossil record should have more examples of intermediary forms of life - somewhere between the ape and man, than any other specimen. Also, according to scientists, the Neanderthals they have discovered actually have bigger brains than homo sapiens. Maybe then homo sapiens evolved into Neanderthals? Perhaps you are the missing link.

You need to reread your history again. The Neanderthals were a line that died out and did not produce directly to the current human form according to evolutionary data. They hardly qualify as a missing link.

My question back to you would be, if evolution is true, why do we not see half men half ape species now? Wouldn't there be that happening all the time?

well your facts happen to be off in this case.

while I believe in Evolution we did not evolve from Neanderthals.

We came from Cro-magnons that existed at the same time as Neanderthals.

Neaderthals are senstive people who hate insurance ads...and are also proven, as a fact of science, to be a totally different species, from man. This means, that they were not just "man" like creationists claim. They even had a larger cranuim capacity, which is why no evolution-deniers try to claim they were just apes.

I believe you guys distort theory to make try to make it fit your concept of fact. Neanderthal neither had any of the linking issues you spoke about previously so again i say like the ape, just a specific species...not homo sapien...try again.

The guys in the Geico commercials are Homo Erectus. All the Neanderthals became Republicans.

Nah, I see neanderthals here all the time. In fact you seem to have a pretty large forehead. Are you sure you aren't just trying to hide behind that blonde hair?
