Yes, you have a choice. I prefer a rubber since it eliminates some of the worries and can become a part of foreplay if done right.

Yes you do have a choice, however, the person you are with may affect that choice.
The agreement the two of you come to will dictate whether a rubber or nothing or some other means of protection is used.
Both of you obviously must consider what kind of relationship you have with each other, the possible pregnancy -- if it is heterosexual -- and the possibility of disease.
And hopefully, you both honor each other's choices.
Enjoy.

You always have a choice - but not being as cautious as possible can lead to disaster. When I was younger I lived in Chicago and led a very promiscuous life - if it was female and it moved I had sex with it lol! I was extremely careful though - I was religous about wearing a condom and observing safe sex practices. I also went to get STD tests about every 3 months just in case - just to check for the heck of it even though I didnt think I had anything. In 7 years of that swinging, promiscus lifestyle I never had a problem - no STD's, no diseases, no gifts that keep on giving, NOTHING. I attribute that to my diligence in practicing safe sex methods.
I am married now, settled down, and my past is behind me, so of course I am enjoying condom-free sex with my wife, but I am in a committed one-woman relationship and have nothing to fear (except maybe a pregnancy lol).
My advice: Before ya' get silly, wrap that willy!

You have many choices
You can abstain - that's choice number one
You can use a latex prophylactic ("rubber") which will help in the prevention of Disease AND pregnancy.
You can use devices, (IUD. Coil, etc) for the prevention of pregnancy (but still run the risk of disease)
Or, you can use nothing and possibly get pregnant AND a venereal disease. Your choice!

No choice is necessary if a person is not slutty and maintains a monogamous relationship...let the children come...if people are lucky enough to have any.

If you don't have a choice, then odds are you probably shouldn't be having sex.
