I just came out about a week ago and I am staying at a friends. I really upset my family. My dad told me that I need to see a shrink and my mom found my male porno in secret places in my room. What should I do? Do I confront the issue?

Do I need to get a professional photo taken to send along with the announcement? Is it proper etiquette to even send a photo? How soon before graduation are announcements supposed to be sent?
I am the first person in my family to graduate college so this is new to us. Thanks.

My Dad has offered me a deal because i am unhappy at school. Go live on South Padre Island and find a couple jobs and stay there for a year so that i can get instate tuition for Texas Tech University or stay in school and then transfer to TTU at the end of the year? He won't be cutting me off or anything like that, he just wants me to have fun. i would be down there during spring break and the summer and stuff like that.

There are a lot of examples, but here is one...
Ezekiel 23:20
There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

I honestly wonder how this works, I can't even begin to understand it. I hope you can help me clear this up.

From what I know, Christians should love God more than anybody else. Even more than their loved ones, their family, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, children, etc.

My girlfriend is a Christian, and even she doesn't understand this concept. She believes in a God, but never will she put God before her family, me, or her friends. That's probably why her and me (Atheist) get along so well.

But I'm really trying to understand the concept. How can you love a God more than the people close to you? And how do your loved ones feel about that?

My sunday school teacher, Mr. Hooper, showed us how to prove that God exists. He rolled a regular dice 25 times and wrote down the numbers that came up. I wrote them down in my Veggie Tales notebook (I only use that one for really important stuff). The numbers were 2,4,2,5,6,1,3,5,6,2,1,1,3,4,5,6,4,3,4,5,2,1,3,6,1... Then he said that each time you roll the dice there's a 1 in 6 probability that any given number will come up. Then he said that since we rolled the dice 25 times, there are 6 to the 25th power combinations of numbers that we could have rolled. Then he said that since there was only a 1 in 2.84 x 10 to the 19th power chance that we could roll that combination of numbers then God obviously made them come up that way. That makes sense to me. How can you say that god doesn't design everything when it's statistically impossible to roll that particular sequence of numbers?

Athiests are stupid and don't know math.

I have a bunch of beautiful bi-racial kids. I've always lived in a color-blind world but as they are getting older, I realize that my world, isn't necessarily their world. They either say they are a mix of mom and dad, tan, white, or just other. So, I thought I'd ask what other people think whey they see bi-racial kids. Most of the black people I know (family, friends) say the kids are black and that they should be taught that because that is how our society will view them. What do you think? My question really applies to all bi-racial people. I would love responses from as many racial groups as possible. Thank you!

in accordance to the Old Testament.
It goes along with
Mot: [god of death and underworld]
Anath:[goddess of war]
Ashreh:[represented human sexuality; wooden pole]

It is another one of the gods/goddess' that Solomons wives brought into the kingdom.
Unfortunatly, I do not know who//what Dagon represented.
Do you?

This question is, hopefully, for night people. No hateful comments, please.

Sub-questions: Do you also have a metabolism (and other bodily functions) that only kicks in near sunset? Also, I'd like to know where you can find other night people?

I was out for a walk earlier, and this guy walked up and asked me if I had heard the good news about the Bible and if I was saved, while trying to hand me a picture of Jesus on a billion dollar bill with a Bible scripture on the back. For some reason he wasn't content when I said "Sorry, but I'm a Druid, and even though I respect your faith, I do not wish to join it." In fact he almost looked offended.

Can any one else think of a better way to handle these situations?
