Yaye! Its so great when you don't know the meaning of things. This is a prophecy of the adultress Babylon whose acts were terrible. This portrays how bad they were. The Bible is a book of truth so it is not going to change its wording to impress men. And do you know children start watching Pornographic films at the age of 6. The kid's mind is already corrupt from the sublemenal messages of the disney cartoons he watches. So you tell me which is better.

The bible is appropriate for anyone to read, even minors, if proper discussion and interpretation is done by a parent or other responsible adult. Yes, there sre sections that are graphic, either sexually or violence, but they are tempered by the overall message of the bible which in its purist form teaches basic morality and love. Even if you are not religious, it's a damn good read (albiet long and sometimes quite dry).

And this refers to Judah making an alliance w/ Babylonia, but then changing their minds. During the reign of Jehoiakim and Zedekiah, Judah looked to Egypt for help. Judah's 'unfaithfulness' (its alliance with a Godless nation) cost it the only real protection it ever really had-God. Not pornographic. Just an analogy.

Yes, the Bible is for all. It is Gods own inspired message. Afraid your translation is watered down a bit. If you research those verses from the original translations you realize the verses are talking about the sins of the fighting between Oholibah-Jerusalem and Assyria and Babylonia.

A proper Chrisitan family/ parent would read the Bible with a child. You would obviously avoid cerian things, ie song of solomon. Youngsters would mostle hear the 4 gospels, like I will raise my kids.

Blessings
David

BTW....did u like my "lack of evidence" on your last Q piglet?

My mommy read me the part about when Lot's daughters got him drunk and had sex with him after the slaughter of all the people in Sodom and Gomorrah. It made me feel giggly.

It's the greatest pornographic novel of all time. Of course, children shouldn't be exposed to it.
