--His sacred day was Sunday, the “Lord’s Day,” hundreds of years before the appearance of Christ.
--Mithra had his principal festival on what was later to become Easter.

How do Christians know that it wasn't just written by men who said it was the word of God? Obviously God doesn't pop into everyone's living room and talk. It's just ministers or priests telling people that it's the word of God. And people believe that.

So, Bible Believers, where is your proof that the Bible really is the word of God? And don't tell me that you're right JUST BECAUSE, or that I'm stupid for not believeing in the Bible, because that will only prove that you're insecure and really don't know how to respond to my question.

So I guess I need to post my question then. Why can't people just be happy and let those who choose to not follow Christianity do as they wish? What's with all the personal attacks on non-Christian faiths? All it does is upset people. Unfortunately, Christianity is not the only religion in the world, it never had been. Accept and Respect people for what they believe in, you'll make friends faster. I'm a Druid, proud to be one, and won't ever change. Why can't people like Savvy S here just accept that and move on with their life? Are they so unhappy with their own religion, so they feel they must take it out on others? Or are they simply victims of religious close-mindedness?

However, it is interesting to note that the term "son of God" is used in other parts of the Bible to refer to Adam (Bible: Luke 3:38), Israel (Bible: Exodus 4:22) and David (Bible: Psalms 2:7) as well. The creatures of God are usually referred to in the Bible as children of God.
according to bible you should believe in 3 son's of God ,
the Christian's tell's us because Jesus had no father that's why he is the son of God ,,,, than my answer is Adam should be a greater son of God than Jesus because he had no father and no mother,

So please he was not the geneticly son of God ,does not make sense

Okay, Im 18 and just came out to everyone. Iv never kissed a girl not to mention a guy. Iv never dated. So, I went on myspace, and found accually found someone my age, my grade, and lives close by. In Judges 1:19 It is told that Judah could not defeat the armies in the valley even with the help of god simply because they were using chariots of iron. A Sherman Tank would make short work of an iron chariot... does that mean it's stronger than god?
