Been learning Dutch (intensely) over the past 4 months. My favourite word is probably rotzooi. which means disaster. it was pretty much my first word, that i really remembered. it can usually describe my room. oh, and vla is not the same as flan. it is custard type stuff that comes in a carton. man is that stuff fantastische! I got lots of Dutch words I can throw in here if you want. *wink*

belachelijk = ridiculous
because of the way you pronounce it. It says exactly what you mean.

incongru: strippenkart is not a tramcar it is a ticket in the form of a stripe that you punch when you go in a tramcar depending on the distance.
Señorita Margarita: thank you is dank u or dank je wel but what you wrote was more German than Dutch.
Kango man: Vla is the same as a flan in English. Definitely not the name of anybody.

"VLA" It's probably a proprietary name, but it's custard in a carton, and it comes in strawberry and vanilla in the same carton, and it's delicious, and that's my favourite Dutch word and thing!
