I think we cry because we feel the abundance of love God has for us and we reflect on how good he is and has been to us. Also, sometimes, God is revealing his thoughts and plans for our lives and we cry of of joy and revelation of who He is and how awesome He is....I love the Lord!!

I think by nature it just overwhelms us ( There's no better feeling in the world than to be so overwhelmed with happiness that it makes you want to have a happy cry. it's like a spiritual awakening and understanding bringing birth to contentment and satisfaction with all that there is ) and that we feel the need to be happy.
When we're mad sometimes we feel rage.
When we laugh we feel the need to spread it.
When we're scared we're helpless.
When we're confused we cannot move forward.
When we know we share.
This is the law of nature.
I think the feeling you described is by far the best nature has to offer.
Embrace it. Cherish it.
On a shorter note sometimes we cry because somebody punched us in the face.

Some people need to cry, and release pent-up feelings, and the Spirit helps them do that. Others cry when they are moved by any strong feeling (I cry at beautiful music, poetry, etc.) So we respond as we are, or according to our need.
I always explain it this way: When the soul gets too big for the body--it comes out the eyes.

it quite is called emotional launch. "over the final couple of months i detect that throughout the time of church throughout the time of specific worship songs or whilst the preacher preaches very no longer ordinary i'm getting this sense that i visit cry. I suppress it as much as i'm able to. Why do i'm getting this sense?" on occasion I positioned on my earphones, load a playlist of ideal song into Winamp, and basically take a seat there listening, weeping uncontrollably. it quite is organic to be moved by emotional issues, particularly song. there is not any longer something supernatural approximately it. we are emotional beings (some human beings extra desirable than others, of course).

I only cry when I feel burdened, while many shed tears of joy.
The holy spirit works differently in alot alot of people, but many Christians do cry.Probably because they have let go of pride at that moment and let their emotions show freely.

Yes, most people cry. I have held back a few times, not wanting my make up to get messed up- this is unfortunate, I'm sure, because why should we hold back? We need the release of emotions that feeling the holy spirit provides. It is a cleansing.

The glory of God in us makes us cry. We feel his amazing grace and know that he has saved us and that leads us to cry; cry tears of joy and happiness because we are saved and tears of sadness because we think that we are not good enough.
When Moses walked down to the Israelites after he talked with God, Gods glory was so bright that he had to wear a veil over his face so the people wouldn't be to overwhelmed. He glory overwhelms us and thus we cry.

I always feel it is my sins being washed away. Especially if it has been awhile since I have attended a service. I cry more then because the sins have had time to build up.

It is because we feel the Holy Spirit inside us moving around, that we cry. It is an awesome feeling to know it is Jesus inside you that makes you cry those happy tears of joy. Praise the Lord!!
