Revelation 12:9-11 (New International Version)

9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
"Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.

This is to say when we stand before God on the day of his return we all will be accused by Satan of the things that we have done I said I await the day when I am accused but My Lord Says to ME Well Done My Good And Faithful Servant!!

I am 18 and I think they are great. Why do so many British teenagers want to knock them. Do you not see they are a part of a great tradition, earn more money than they spend, provide true entertainment, have great style (look At princess Di, ok, when she was alive). OK they have their faults, but they are only human and above all else i think the queen is so hard working and honourable putting duty towards and honour for her country above doing what is easy qand slacking off. And i think the princes, especially William will carry on doing this. (OK Prince Harry dressing up as a nazi was a bit silly but he didn't mean it cruelly). I think people who knock them are just mindless who want to appear radical because they have nothing else to complain about. Admit it, you would miss them if they went!!! I would :(

A couple days ago i asked a question about how people would feel about having Mitt Romny, a mormon, as president after all the weird things you hear about mormons. A friend of mine brought up a good point...

"Mormons are no weirder than those crazy cannibal cults that symbolically eat their gods flesh and drink his blood every Sunday! now those people are odd!"

So are all people who practice a specific religion just creepingly odd if you look at them close enough?

Without sounding judgmental, why do you post questions that are almost unreadable because of the spelling or grammar?

Is it because you don't know proper spelling or grammar? Are you new to English? Do you think it's cool? Are you lazy? Are you just having fun with it? Do you not care?

What's the logic behind it? I'm seriously trying to understand it, and I'm not trying to be a snob.

This part of Jeremiah 10:3 and all of 10:4.

for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

I guess I am wondering if pagans were decorating trees that far back in Bible times. Thanks for your help!

It just seems like we are looked at as devil worshipers, and that is far from the truth! I know that everyone cannot accept something they do not wish to understand, but do you think it is at least worthwhile to try?

If we want to use the verse that we should treat our bodies as a temple...well doesnt this includenot eating right(fast food),not working out,not flossing/brushing teeth, not taking vitiamins...where else in scripture does it support it?

I got rid of my facebook (myspace) a week ago without telling my friends at school, who were really excited and happy that I decided to get one. Now they seem po'ed at me. Should I have said something? I thought about it but I onestly thought it would be arrogant of me to think they cared that much. I don;t know though they seemed po'ed before this, I wonder if they thought I was arrogant because I added a lot of friends. I guess I could either apologize, put it back up, act like nothing happen, let it fade away. I honestly thought they would figure out that I got rid of it and they never asked me. The screwy thing is I'm trying to get to become better friends with these people and I don't know if this screws it up. I also have incredibly low self esteem and social anxiety disorder so I guess I could be misinterpreting anger, like I do a lot, but now they have reason to be pis sed
