If I knew I was going to be lonely on Christmas, I would get a bunch of gifts for myself, as a distraction. Of course a short 3-5 day drinking binge works as well. Think cheap champagne!

Check out this link: http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/christmas/s/192/192501_lonely_this_christmas.html

Here is the beginning: OLDER men are more likely than anyone else to be spending this Christmas alone, a charity said today.

Age Concern is warning that 1.7 million single older men could be living in isolation in the UK over the festive period.

Its figures indicate 289,000 of these men are also living in poverty.

Kinda scary :(

Haven't heard the song but.....lonliness can mean a lot of things....lonely feeling inside but not alone or alone as in being away from family like our men and women in the military that are serving in Iraq....or a complete and alone individual both physically and mentally.........and the list goes on about their "christmas doings"

Never heard the song, never hear of the song, but my advice is thus:

Dress up like Santa, go to your neighbors, then ask where their milk and cookies are. Extra points if you have reindeer, are chubby, or have an enormous beard.

Probably depressed if they celebrate the holiday. I know I would cry if I had to spend the Christmas alone. Thank GOD for my family.

They sleep.
As a rule, they suffer from insomnia, so that´s a good chance to ketch up with sleep.
The best way is to pretend, that the day is like everyday.

We thank our lucky stars we don't have to watch disapointed brats open presents when everyone knew they wanted a pony.
