Witness, Worship and Waiting!

There is no place specifically that I can recall that the church is charged to engage in three "Ws." I think you may be pulling from several scriptural sources and linking them, perhaps as directed by a pastor, a teacher or an author. If I'm incorrect, I apologize, but I think you've basically created a 3-point sermon by drawing on diverse scriptural references. And besides, since the New Testament was written in Greek, and there is no letter "W" in Greek, you're engaging in a bit of horseplay with the scriptures.

So my guess is Worship, preach the Word (or Witness), and Wait (or Watch) for Christ's return.

Can you clarify the question? Are these words used in the Bible or just in church history?
Work, Watch, and Wait would be my guess.
