An associate and I went to France recently for business, and when we walked into a cafe we went over to the counter and asked, "Do you speak English?" in our very American accents, just to see if they were so contemptuous of Americans as everyone says they are. The people behind the counter looked at each other and smiled, then started jabbering away at us in French. People in the cafe also started talking and some people even got up and came over to us to shake our hands, smile at us, and jabber. I guess they were doing that because they ARE contemptuous of Americans, and they thought we couldn't speak French. Then after we'd taken it for a while, my associate looked around at them all and smiled back, and started to jabber back at THEM in French, and they all looked really shocked, and everyone stopped talking except for him.
Why do the French act that way toward us?

why do they think that out of all the religion's in the world that they will be the only ones left to clean up all the dead people? (when the end of the earth comes?) It just seems that there has to be other religion's out there that will be saved if somthing like that happens

It confuses me why Christians think the crucifixion of Jesus was more special than the death of many other people in history. There are millions that have died defending their country, their beliefs, and the welfare of mankind in general. Jesus wasn't the only one that died for man's "sins".

I date hispanic and black men because that is what I am attracted to and they must like me too because that is what I attract. I never have a white guy hit on me, which is fine. But when I date outside my race, some spanish family members always have a problem with me or it seem I always get comments from black and spanish girls who don't even know me or my date but always have something to say that is negative and none of their business anyways. Will this ever slow down because I am sick of the comments and what I percieve to be some jealousy. Not jealous of me but jealous I am in a relationship. Comments please and please no ignorant people please.
