The hippocratic oath of do no harm.
Everything is sterile as per normal procedure. The switchs that are thown to inject the chemicals is not done by a Dr. So they do no harm

It's for the safety of the person administering the injection as well as considered inhumane treatment to use a contaminated needle.

No doctor or nurse has unsterile needles sitting around. They all come in presterilized packages.
They're just following common procedure for giving injections.

don't know but its as bad as using alcohol wipes on the arms before they use the sterile needles you it would be bad for some one to die and get sick
