I am a middle age bachlor and I hate to cook.I hate my own cooking. My mother(now deceased) always poked food at me when I visited. If I said no I do not want anything. She would not take no for an answer.I would end
up leaving mad.I hate someone poking food at me.When I
get up in the morning I do not want to eat right away.I
like to eat later. She said you have to eat right away when
you get up.Eating is not a priority to me.
Why are some people obsessed with food.I think it is repulsive.

How could it be? Me and my family have had this debate for as long as I can remember. I just dont see a Trinity here:

John 14:28 If you loved me you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

If The father and the son were the same why would he have to go to himself, and how could part of himself be greater than another part of himself?

John 14:31
The world must learn that I love the father and that I do exactly what my Father commanded me

Um... he did what he comanded of himself? Why not just say that. If you are God in the flesh then why adress yourself always as your own father?

and constant contradiction --- in the same paragraph
John 14:10
"Dont you believe I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
John 14:13
"And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring Glory to the Father."
Why would he have to deliver Glory to himself?

I'm ready to give up.

besides your own do you know the most about?

I saw Jamilah (sp?) formerly Mav mention she has studied, not converted, other religions. I have also studied quite a few. So who out there, has researched more than one, how many, how well do you know it, and is there anything good you can say about it??

Jesus could forsee many things (Second Coming, his death, betrayal etc). Therefore he knew he was going to die for sometime. Now I believe a martyr is an individual who is willing to die (but doesn't want to die) for their beliefs. Jesus resigned himself to death in advance. Of course this was Gods will.

I can only see 2 choices if I followed the Christian faith.

1 Jesus committed premeditated suicide, or;
2 His father murdered him

I've been wrong many times in my life, and I always felt gratitude for those who corrected me on any issue .
So why do people resist correction so much ?
Why do people disregard directions on the right path to take ?
Do you see this as a bigger problem than previously in history ?

I once was lost, but now I'm found . Was blind but now I SEE !!

And yet we keep using the word "slave" as a noun and verb. After all, blacks should be much more offended by that word than the n-word, because slavery was much more heinous to their race than the supposed insult embedded in the n-word.

Should we also banish the word "Whitey" since it is exactly equal to the N-word?

See how silly we all can sound? And don't give me the crap about racial segregation---I did not cause it and I will be d--ned if I am going to apologize for others who are not even here to defend themselves. Let's start with the revered George Washington, who kept happy slaves.

We don't know whether to call the complex office (courtesy officer) or write them a note. We've never spoken with them. But the banging sounds like they are building a barn - it's so loud!!! We don't hear them, just the banging of the headboard. What to do? We are very non-confrontational people.

I mean, Sarah isn't really that complicated, is it? People are always leaving off the "H" even after they've SEEN my name spelled. (in an email, on a piece of paper, under my pic in Yahoo! Answers, etc) That's the worst! Do they assume I've misspelled my own name or something?

And how come, when I say, "It's Sarah, with an 'H' " do they spell it Sarha? Or Sahra?? I mean, really people... I've never seen it spelled that way for real! Sarah is one of the easiest names ever! Just pay attention. Geesh...

Why are so many people scared of God? Why do we think that he is just a big cosmic judge in the sky ready to strike us down when we sin? Doesnt it say that Jesus (God) WEPT in compassion for the human race? Didnt he DIE so that we dont have to fear judgment?
