Seriously why have Americans changed the spelling of English words and invented a whole host of ponitlessly over elaborate words e.g. Elevator instead of Lift?

Also what is the tendency to put -ism at the end of miscellaneous adjectives all about.?

Is it indicative of their desire to place everyone and everything into groups and categories?

I DONT BELIEVE IN ANY RELIGION. This question is a follow-up to the amazingly poor reasoning used in a question by a person who asked the same, about Muhammad.

Clearly, if you think that Islam must be true, because it is the second largest religion in the world and God wouldnt allow it otherwise, you are pathetically lacking in intelligence.

If your foolish enough to use this logic, then of course you must become Christian, cause God has allowed people to believe Jesus is the son of man, for 2000 years!

It doesnt matter whether Islam came along after and created another prophet they also called "jesus", the fact remained that non-muslim Christians continued to believe otherwise, in larger numbers, and still continue to believe otherwise in larger numbers, all with God's persmission!

Wow. The level of stupidty here is just unreal. How can you have any faith in humans when you see such stupidity?

Hi, im 18 years old and im straight but im girlfriend is bi. I love the times we have with each other but lately i been depressed because she is startin up her "bi ways". We been togeather for like 3 months now. And i dislike bisexuals. So now this girl that she knows i hate comes along and they start havin this wierd secret kinda relationship and now she is in love wit the girl and me. This other girl is trying to get her to not go out wit me and earlier made her promise not to go out wit me, but we did later anyway.

So wat im asking is, is it time for me to just move on? Cause its obvius we are 2 different types. And i know if i was her true love i would accept her but i cant so i guess im not her real love. I also been building up alot of stress lately

Seriously, it amazes me that so many people believe so blindly with all the discrepancys of organized religion and the bible. I believe in God, in life after death, and that we have our own precious soul which we are truly responsible for.
This question isn't meant to insult - I really want to know why you take man's word for God's, meaning the preachers, ministers, rabbis and priests, and do so without questioning the discrepancys and hypocrisies of organized religion. How do you trust another man or woman with something as valuble as your soul? Shouldn't it be your job and God's?
Please, someone, give me a logical answer.

Some lesbinans appear in every way as possible to appear as a man, why would other lesbians be attracted to them? Is it just the perversion that is interesting to them? If a woman appears to be a man in every way, why wouldn't a lesbian just go all the way and get a real man?
