Is it just me or do you find that Y!A isn't fun any more, now that Batman is no longer here asking all of those great questions and giving such insightful answers to our questions.

I was an exchange student in Japan. I found out that the teacher whose class I was visiting just had his mother die. I'm supposed to send him a card in Japanese, but I don't know what to write.

Can anyone help me?

Why is it the Majority of Wiccans are posting under Myths and Folklore and not under Religion? Wicca is a recognised religion, so why is it that we dont post here?

Why are they promised 10 virgins for being a martyr? Isn't that like rewarding someone who lost 20 pounds with a lifetime of free twinkies? If sexual immorality is forbidden by Allah why would he reward you with it by filling heaven with sexual immorality?

If God is truly omniscient (all-knowing), then he placed the Tree of Knowledge into the Garden of Eden KNOWING that Adam and Eve would disobey him. According to Genesis, Adam and Eve were consequently punished for failing the "test" put forth by God and giving into temptation. Intrinsically, God placed the Tree into the Garden KNOWING that he would eventually have to punish Man terribly. Is God sadistic?"

I've noticed how nice they are. I think that in Latin countries, black people are viewed differently. They are not hung up on their race. "Mi *****/a" (my black one) is used as a term of endearment towards a black person. Also, the exotic beauty of black women is celebrated. I feel more at home with them. I'm sick of, constantly, hearing about racism (from a certain group.) I know that racism is a reality, and everyone is subjected to it at some time, but, always, arguing about it has me tired. What do you all think?

Why does it seem like Christians are WAY more offended by something that says Jesus did exist, but not in the traditional way, than they do about movies and writings that say He never existed.
I've read fictional books that said we were created by aliens, by dragons. That the ark was a spaceship and noah was an alien. But in the Davinci Code, people are throwing a fit about the idea that he MIGHT have had a wife. Did he? Does it even MATTER!? Was he less of a Savior to the world if he was a husband and father?
My other question, doesn't the church realize that it is its own worst enemy as far as this stuff goes? Is this narrow minded all knowing perspective the one God wants people to have? Why do people tell me God is a mystery and they'll have so many questions for HIm, then act like the KNOW Jesus wasn't married even though it didn't say he wasn't?

Twice before, esperanto was suggested as an official language in the UN. The first time the french killed it because at the time they were considered the international language of diplomacy. The second time the Americans killed it because english was starting to assume that role. Since Esperanto holds observer status, it must happen eventually, so how long? Or will it ever?
