A Judge has so ruled. Does this make him one of them thar ACTIVIST JUDGES? I bet he is A CLOSET ACLU MEMBER?
Here in Indiana a State Legislator is suing to have JESUS name to be mentioned in State House opening prayers. That font of CONSERVATIVE
THOUGHT points out that JEWS represent only some 2% of Indiana citizens. Heck surely the BLIND represent less of a percentage of the U.S. population than that, no? At least until the Iraq war serves to bring the U.S. Blind population up out of its extreme minority status.
With no disrespect to the services of our brave troops in Iraq surely
CONSERVATIVES in our govt. can find ways to throw the sum mentioned
above down an Iraqui rathole. If not, how about spending it on a BRIDGE TO NOWHERE in Alaska?

I am referring to the question someone posed earlier :

If christians can say "god bless you", why can't i respond with "goddamn you"

Why must we Christians react so negatively on what he said?

Non believers look at how we behave and talk. For me, i am a Catholic and frankly i won't want to be one if Christ behave as such. on the contrary his love for me enabled me to love my 'enemies'.

So for christ's sake, be more accomodating to them.

The fact is that most men in the US are circumcized. Sure, Jewish men are always circumcized but they do not make make up the majority of men. Wheras in Europe most men aren't circumcized.
Thanks!

What if when you die you discover there really is a God and you've been trying persuade people into believing there isn't? Do you really want to spend eternity in a lake of fire being tormented forever? Is it really worth it?

According to the late Pope John Paul II, the cannon law now reads

CAN.1436
$1. “Whoever denies or places in doubt any truth that must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or repudiates the Christian faith as a whole, and does not come to his senses after having been legitimately warned, is to be punished as a heretic or an apostate by major excommunication…”

$2.”Aside from such cases, whosoever rejects a doctrine proposed, as definitively to be held by the Roman Pontiff or college of Bishops exercising their authentic Magisterium, or else excepts a doctrine condemned by them as erroneous, and does not come to his senses after having been legitimately warned, is to be punished by an appropriate penalty.”

So which “appropriate penalty” will they use, death, like in the middle ages? Is the pope trying to tell me that I will NOT keep the true Sabbath (Saturday) otherwise I will be punished. I suppose a lot of Muslims and even atheists will have a problem with this Canon Law, I certainly do?

When do you put it up? Who puts it up? I'm asking because when my husband and I had our first Christmas together last year, I found myself assembling the artificial tree we bought by myself, and decorating it, and putting the lights on, and the star!!! To him, that is normal, but for me, tradition is that the dad puts the tree up and the lights on, and then we play christmas music and have hot chocolate while everyone decorates the tree, and each year someone different puts the star on top.

Dear friends, what do you think? Two greatest inventions of 20th century, television and computers. Both have become integral part of our lives. How far these two are going to take us?

He created us as equals, but when Eve gave Adam the Apple, God decided that men would be superior to Chicks. Then he kicked us out of the Garden of Eden. Thanks to Chicks, we are living in this Hell called earth when we could have been living in the Kingdom of Heaven, that's why God made Chicks inferior.

A thread on another web site said that one minister said that newly converted Christians lose all their non-Christian friends within two years.
Do you think that this is true, and if true is it a good thing?

If someone said to you that Christmas has been cancelled, would you actually care?

I normally love this time of year, but for some reason I seem to have no Christmas spirit this time round. I have yet to buy any presents, and I honestly don't know what I'm going to get anyone. I really wish that I could just hibernate untill 2007.
