Well... We have a bond of friendship that goes back almost three centuries, and I for one hope it continues. The current political situation aside, I think most people recognize that our two countries should remain allies for a long time.
My mother is from England, came over to the U.S. after WWII. All my relatives from England are wonderful people.

Kind of depends, because there are at least a couple different categories of British people in common stereotype: the upper-class bluebood variety and the working-class cockney.

Some of us think you have forgotten your heritage. You have let your country be taken over by Muslims, while you yourself clamor and clamor for more social welfare benefits. Where is the country that ruled the world? Where is the country that defined taste and good manners? Where is the country that held on to and expounded the Christian vision for over 300 years? Where?
We think of you tragically, and see our own end coming.
.
... and, of course, we really still like The Beatles.

Anyone with a British accent sounds smart to us. But we wonder why all these smart people have bad teeth. Maybe that is what makes them better humorists.
