I realize I am probably asking a very "stupid question" here, but in the modern world, what does it actually mean to be a lord? It's a great honor, isn't it? I'd love more information...

(just curious and wondering about it...)

I have read a ton on homicides of different sorts, murders, and even peculiar cases of grotesque cannibalism. But what I seem to find facination and most unifrom upon the product and end result of each of these vulgarities of society is that the killer is often much more remebered and peole even visit his house, while the victims are barely even though about or known. Such as the case of Joachim Kroll the cannibal of Germany, fans actually visit him house, books dedicated after him, etc. Is this representative of the nature of man and society, that outwardly we show somber sad emotion for the victums, and within we perpetuate liking and fascination at grotesque and horrendous acts.

What has your life been like since your conversion?

How do you think that I, as a Christian but not a Jew, should or could incorporate the Jewish religion into my own life?

Ok, so three questions. I'm looking for serious answers only please. Thank you in advance.

As with the Old Testament, we just don't know who wrote most of the New Testament. Tradition has assigned the Gospels and most of the Epistles to certain authors, all of whom were important figures in Jesus' life or the early days of the faith. It was important for the early church to believe the authors wrote the works attributed to them, since their eminence lent the writings authority. But since we don't have the original signatures, none can be verified except through textual clues.

Why do you think America (which has something like an 8% non-theist population – conservative estimate) is so behind in this trend compared to other European countries like England which I believe has something like 55% of its population which doesn’t believe in a higher power? It kind of makes me want to move to Europe so that I can raise my children without fear of manipulative bible thumpers (not that all Christians are manipulative bible thumpers – I really am not trying to offend people). I’m mostly looking for a Christian perspective on this issue, but all answers are welcome. :)
