It starts with you. Do a good deed and start the ball rolling. Hold a door open for someone. Rake a neighbor's leaves. Be pleasant to strangers. We can all make life a little better.

The world has been the same since time started. Warring countries, religious anarchy, incredible acts of voilence.....My friend the NEWS got better at reporting thats all. Avoid the news stations for a week and focus on what good things are happening right around you all the time. People helping people all around you. The news can give you the impression that life as we know it will be over by next Thursday...FOCUS on all the GOOD THINGS happening in this world...Ask yourself the question What can I do to make my world a better place...How can I make a difference in this crazy world? How can I help someone who needs help? There are many ways you can make a difference ....everyone needs help look around or volunteer for a little while somewheres ....the feeling you get inside will be so good you'll love it really seriously......mikey

Yeah, there are a hell of a lot of problems in the world. It can be really depressing. And you know what? You can't change everything. However, you can change some things. Pick a cause that's important to you (global warming, homelessness, poverty etc) do some research, then get your *** in gear and make a difference.

That's funny I was just thinking about whether or not I was allergic to eggs,then I saw your user name,,,(I was having a little acid reflux after eating some yesterday that was in stuffing).I can tell you what I am doing about it,,,I have began to chat with people who are moslems and learn all I can about them and their culture.I have found out that they are loving and caring people out there just as there are here.All moslems are not extremist.They like modern music and love tv and movies.The problem is we are getting to know them under extreme conditions.Peace!!

humans are just doing the nasty destructive things humans have always done. the big difference nowadays is that there's just far too many of us so the scale of destruction is so enormous that we're not just killing each other but the Earth's Eco systems as well.
aside, from immediate and strident birth control and less copious consumption of resources the only thing i can think of to better this place is if we humans experienced a substantial culling.
