Seriously, Christmas has been around for CENTURIES...
It is even mentioned in the Aurthurian legends!
Long before any of us here were even thought of, people were celebrating Christmas.
Wars have stopped, cease fires have been called, in accordance with the angels' call for "Peace on earth, good will toward men"....
Now, all of a sudden, we have to change it to some generic greeting, to appease...who, exactly?
I do realize that there are other holidays celebrated during the winter season, so? Nobody is asking them to NOT to celebrate their holidays...
Honestly, some of you guys need to be visited by those three spirits....

In Isaiah 14:12 Lucifer is called the son of the morning and lucier means (according to Strong's Concordance) 1966 heylel hay-lale' from 1984 (in the sense of brightness); the morning-star:--lucifer.

But Jesus is referred to as both the day star and morning star.

Been homeless... well semi-homeless (couch-surfing) for some time now. Few friends and no family for help. Hard to keep a job in this situation. Motels are expensive. Social services is a joke. I'm a 25 year old male in Riverside county, Ca. Very few shelters out here, all of which play favorites. I guess I have to wait till I can barely walk and my teeth fall out to establish myself as a legitimate vagrant..lol. Anyways I was hoping to find some type of volunteer type organization that offered room and board. Haven't had any luck so far. Even thought about comiting some sort of petty crime just to get locked up for awhile. Any leads would be helpfull.

how come everyone thinks living in south africa is bad.I was born there and its a great place to be and i've noticed on Commercials and stuff it always says the bad stuff about south africa!

with all the problems we have when it comes to child pornography that the artist JoJo is only 15 years old and if you listen to song #2 on her latest CD - she sings the lyrics "do me, do me right now" - continually - over and over.
Does this bother anyone?
I feel like no one else notices that all young girls are being lured to become flaunts and over sexual at very young ages.
Then we have a 15 year old musician singing about being bent over and fuc%$#.
I am apalled and fed up with our ironic view in society. We scold men for gawking at young girls but on the other hand we entice young girls to show off their pubic bones, etc.

These guys I work with call me:

Mamacita, chiquita, bonita, sancha and also add -ita to my name.

I know that Chiquita means little girl literally and Sancha means mistress or lover on the side literally and bonita is pretty, but what is the general meaning of these words?? Is it rude of them to say, should I be offended?

They are very sweet and nice people, but the only thing is should they be saying this stuff if they are married or in a relationship?? Also they like to touch a lot...cultural or should I tell them to stop?

My school has 2000 students, most are irish and german, the others are italian, russian, spanish, asian, muslum, indian, latin, mexican, and about 1 percent is african american. I believe we are a very diversed school with many nationalities. But the group of people from the city who are black believe we are not. Because to them diversity mean having more "african americans" in our school. I believe that is bullcrap. Because in reality diversity is a mixture of cultures not the color of people. It almost seems like their fighting their own fight on both sides....My point is that i believe my school is diverse because we have people that are asian, latin, european, etc which can all share their cultures together including some of the black kids in our school, i believe their opinion that are school is not diverse is absolutly ridiculous.....WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I'm sitting here answering questions about this Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays stuff. Why can't some people just accept that there are other religions besides Christianity? I'm a Druid, and I don't walk around telling everyone I meet "Merry Yule" or "Happy Winter Solstice." Some would be offended, and some just wouldn't understand. So I say Happy Holidays, or Season's Greetings. What is wrong with that? They are generic, politically correct terms that don't offend anyone.
