Oh I'm not so sure about that! Have you read George Washington's personal history about how the Constitution came about? And what about all those Christians who left their homes for the New World so they could have freedom of religion?
Maybe he's still at it and people just don't want to give him credit where credit is due!

"The bible is true because I have faith"? Oy vey! This is what is called a "tautology"; look it up. I can have faith that the novels I read are true, but that doesn't mean they are. And if I insist people live their lives based on a work of fiction, unless that particular work is called the bible, I'll be hauled off to a psych ward. Moses' alleged miracles are not undeniable. Unless you have some source besides a bible to show that the staff did turn into a snake or the Red Sea did part, etc., it's allegory at best and flat-out baloney at worst. Just enjoy the ordinary miracles of life and don't worry about not seeing water turn into wine or so-caleld huge miracles.

God still does miracles, just not in PYRO-TechiNIQUEs anymore because people have so many different ways to believe. There was no "Holy Bible" documenting stories of the Divine as we have today, so God used signs and wonders to speak to a people that needed THAT to believe. He STILL DOES IT TODAY 2006. My friend was COMPLETELY Healed from HIV by the power within Jesus Christ. He tells it all over the world now. "Dewayne Woods" (if u want 2 research it) also look up Apostle Charles Ndorfin. U will begin to see a lot more of this kinda stuff happening within the present generations

Of course not, but those who are more interested in having an orderly world, have and will discount any miracle or revelation because these things upset applecarts. Skepicism has a firm grip on those who claim that we can only have faith in what has happened according to some written account. God works hourly to bring about enlightenment, always has and always will, we however must train ourselves to see his actions because we are in a much faster world than what is portrayed in the Bible. So if your looking for his signs, first slow down.

The Word says some "must" enter into Heaven, but those to whom it was
first preached, did not, because of unbelief.
I was riding my bike a while back. And I clearly heard the ball bearings
snapping and popping, about to break. I was broke, having given my last
money to help someone else. And I said , "God, I don't need this!"
I went into the store and came back out, and started riding my bike. I
haven't heard a pop from the bearings since!

i wouldn't call it too bigger break, ironically God is still at it culling us humans and keep our population under control ,only cause we're too stuipid to do it ourselves his methods might not be as spectacular but , they didn't have cancer and aids 4000 years ago and they certainly didn't have military weapons that could kill thousands in one foul swoop or over populated countries where you can blow up a city and kill amillion people because of over population , So through war , famine , diseases and natural disaster i think there is some pretty miracolous force at work cause if you removed all these the world would be complete;ly destroyed by over population. Who would have thought God and science hand in hand in efforts to control the destructiveness of man .

The old testament times were an age almost totally deprived of God's grace and goodwill ... a literal hell on earth.
Modern times are marked by God's superabundant grace, thanks to the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, which obtained for mankind God's eternal favor.
And while you may term the events of the old testament "crazy" it was Satan, sin, and death that ruled in those times, since Adam had asked God to "take a hike" when he chose to throw in with Satan, in the garden of Eden.
That should be a lesson for those who continue to try to separate themselves from God, even today.

Whenever I read the newspaper or watch the news on TV....I see it everyday.
Hurricanes, floods, earthquakes......and the occasional story of a person who considers their escape from any one of those disasters to be a miracle.
I guess it's all in how we view the things we see around us.

no. He stopped the sun in the sky in 1917 in Portugal.
Haven't you heard of Fatima?
It had been raining and raining. The fields were muddy, and there were thousands upon thousands of people present, perhaps as many as 100,000 people witnessed the sun crazily careening out of control. They thought the world was going to end, and the phenomenon lasted 10 minutes. At the end, everything was bone dry. Their clothes, the fields. Everything. It was amazing.
