Hells yeah they are! I look forward to seeing more latinos in the lime light in a lot of different career fields. I think that in recent years that Latinos have started to get more representation in American society I guess with it comes all that B.S racism. I hate it when people think that all hispanics are Mexicans or illegal aliens. And making English the official language of America what a load of B.S! This is a melting and english just happens to be one of the many languages spoken here. I think that Ugly Betty is a good start! I love that show! MORE LATINO SHOWS! Soon hispanics will have out numbered white people in the United States I wonder how many years it will be until that happens?

There has certainly been an upsurge of Latinos in leading roles, but Latinos are not "new" to Hollywood. They have maintained an important and talented presence in Hollywood since the beginning.

No way. Sure, you see more wet backs in entertainment every day, but the majority of them are lazy as f*ck. This surge will stop soon, and those beaners will go South and star in their own shows on SPlC TV.
