I received a blessing once that explained it like this.
Even like a coal from a fire burns brightly. If left alone for long it's flame soon ebbs and dies. But returned to the heat of the fire, it is rekindled and it's flame burns brightly, being fed by the flame of those around it!
We are energized by the testimonies of others. Our testimonies grow and are strengthened by the testimonies of others.Yes we may be considered religious without going to church. But our faith and testimonies will be much stronger if we go and and let our vessels be refilled by those around us!!

No.

People go to church to obtain the real benefits of doing so.

Religion has nothing to do with it.

There are alot of people that go to church who I still dont consider religious. Going to church helps strengthen your knowledge in our lord and savior jesus christ. Its just like going to school. You must study, pay attention, and attend on the regular inorder to succeed.

Of course not... religion by definition means "demonstration of faith" if a person is demonstrative of their faith, they are "religious" some people demonstrate their faith by going to church, or singing, or doing charity work... thousands of different things. Whatever faith you have, demonstrate it the way you feel closest to God.

No, not at all.

Only if you're a brainwashed christian. In the Baptist religion, there is no requirement of going church...It doesn't make sense to me though, if you aren't required to go to church, why would you? BTW I'm not baptist or christian...I'm just trying to have an open mind here.
