If you had an ant farm, would you require the ants to worship you? Would you burn them under a magnifying glass if they said you did not exist? What would you do to the ants who worshipped a different ant farm owner?

First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. - 2 Peter 3:3-9

Does Yahoo send you a violation e-mail every time someone (anyone) clicks the report abuse button? Or do they actually evaluate your answer and decide to send you the violation notice based on the rules? I get sooooo many violation notices that it's ridiculous. My answers are often sarcastic (humorous) but not in any way Vulgar or Crude. So who actually decides? How many violations does it take to get banned? I must be really close by now!! LOL I hate censorship. There is no place for it on the internet. By the way, Fonz and Stamos...I LOVE YOU! I'll be banned for sure after saying that!

We are hosting a "Welcome New Neighbor" get together for new neighbors. I am serving beverages and heavy hors d'ouevres. The event is scheduled for two hours, and will be relatively informal. The guests include a few (not all) nearby neighbors within the subdivision. Is it necessary (or expected) that I also provide hostess gifts to the neighbors who have been invited to meet the new couple? If so what sort of gift would be recommended?

Also - what are the guidelines as to when a hostess should provide a hostess gift to the guests (or take-home goodie bag)? Thank you, very much.

There is no more RELIABLE evidence for one religion over another.Ergo,how to know with certainty that one God IS the true God of all gods? Or, perhaps, there IS more than one God. Which ones NEED I believe in and how do I discern the truth?
Need I believe in some books first? Which ones? There are so very many "holy" books, how to KNOW which is the correct book or books?

Does every body want there to be an eternal torment hell? Is the fire eternal? What is the final outcome, even for Sodom and Gomorrah Matt.10:15 of the fire shower???

Heb.9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement [ when hell ];
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53 As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive [ in order with the heavenly first and the earthly thereafter]; When is hell?
Rev.20:1-6 The heavenly first resurrected is with Jesus, 12,13 they resurrect the earthly.
Rev.20:14; How do you cast a sepulchre hell and death in a lake of fire? See Rev.21:8;
Rev.1:7 Jesus comes with the clouds and every eye shall see him, even they that pierced him, if they [ Roman soldiers ], did not see the hell that is taught, who does ?
Rev.21:1-5, all is made new and verse 8 is the second death.
Rev.20:7-10 is the final cleansing of the earth at the end of the 1000 years judgement day.
Is it me, or is something really wrong with heaven and hell teaching?

Titus 3: 3-7 - Jesus' mercy saves us, and belief in him - 'Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy'

Romans 10: 9-13 - Whoever believes in God and Jesus, and the stories of the Bible is saved.

Matthew 19: 16-30 - keep the commandments of not murdering, stealing, bearing false witness, honour your father n mother, love your neighbour as yourself and you will be saved. Sell posessions.

Luke 13: 22-28 - be humble, it is easier for camel to go through eye of needle than rich man enter heaven etc

John 3: 16-19 - Whoever believes in God and Jesus is saved.

1 John 4: 17-21 - Love others and love God.

The only convincing passage that MAY hint at homosexuals going to hell is Matthew 25: 31-46 where the righteous and unrighteous are separated to go to heaven and hell. But this is close to a passage about how by helping other people you help Jesus, so I see the 'righteous' more as being people who are kind to others.

I cal myself 'British', but what does that actually mean?
I was born here, raised here and educated here. I have a British Passport, and yes, i am white.
But do I belong here?
Britian is like no other country in the world (thank the politicians for that), so small yet so significant. So currupt yet such a fantastic law system...
Im actually loosing myself in this question!
I would like a strong divide (yes, a divide), to those that feel ethnic cleansing is the way forward, and those that feel ethnic cleansing would crash the economy!

I think it's human nature to have sexual urges, even if you don't want to. They should modernise (go back to the oldest version of the church where the 1st pope was married). They should really make women equal too, and let them be popes, bishops, prists, etc...

Just wondering. This is definately something you have to see to believe. Some people believe me becuase they know me and wouldnt lie but others think I am crazy. That doesnt bother me though. I do not usually talk about it and not that many people know about it. More and more people, media, governments are coming around. In other countries it is much more widely excepted.
