I think its a proving ground. Kind of like bootcamp. Showing that you are or are not good enough to go on to the next step. If you pass the test you go on, if you dont, well you dont you just keep going untill you get where you're supposed to be.

To understand why you were created, you must look to the creator. You were created BY God and FOR God. You were made to worship Him and enjoy Him forever; in this life and the next one as well. God wants us to draw others to Him by living our lives in obedience to Him.
Read "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. It will give you a much better understanding of what the real meaning is all about.

The meaning of life is to answer as many Yahoo!Questions as possible during your short time on Earth.

Gain as many points as possible to use nowhere.

He did extensive research and came up with the conclusion as recorded in
Ecclisiastes 12:13.
And he is known still today as being one of the wisest people of all time.

Meaningless. You are conceived, given birth, go through childhood, become an adult, have to work and earn money, to spend on material things, get married and be miserable, get screwed over by your employer regarding your retirement, get old, forced into MEDICARE, draw the measly amount of social security, get sick of some deceases, finally die. All for what?

There is none.

"Purpose" is a human fabrication stemming from the need to have some means of predicting the course of causality... and the rest of reality is quite beyond such pointless things.
