Does every body want there to be an eternal torment hell? Is the fire eternal? What is the final outcome, even for Sodom and Gomorrah Matt.10:15 of the fire shower???
Heb.9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement [ when hell ];
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53 As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive [ in order with the heavenly first and the earthly thereafter]; When is hell?
Rev.20:1-6 The heavenly first resurrected is with Jesus, 12,13 they resurrect the earthly.
Rev.20:14; How do you cast a sepulchre hell and death in a lake of fire? See Rev.21:8;
Rev.1:7 Jesus comes with the clouds and every eye shall see him, even they that pierced him, if they [ Roman soldiers ], did not see the hell that is taught, who does ?
Rev.21:1-5, all is made new and verse 8 is the second death.
Rev.20:7-10 is the final cleansing of the earth at the end of the 1000 years judgement day.
Is it me, or is something really wrong with heaven and hell teaching?

Something is really wrong with the heaven and hell teaching.
According to Psalm 115:16, has God provided earth, or heaven for mankind?
According to Psalm 37:29, where are we suppose to spend our eternity?
Reasoning:
God said Adam would lose the gift of life if he ate of the forbidden fruit.
He ate, he died.
IF he never ate of it, if he never touched it ....where would he be today?
Our future is on a cleansed earth.
That is what God's original purpose is .....and nothing will change his mind.

When you die outside of the forgiveness of Christ, your soul goes to hell; if forgiven (born again), to heaven.....hell is NOT eternal....hell is only until Rev. 20:11-15....this is called the "great white throne judgment" ie the judgment of the damned. God calls their body out of the grave (or wherever it may be) and reunites it with the soul- verse 14- and death (body) and hell (soul) were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.......hope this sheds a little light.

No, it's not you. There is something really wrong with H&H teaching.
People grow up and are no longer afraid of things that go bump in the night, but everybody is afraid of dying, or at least they're not really keen on the idea (suicides notwithstanding). So, if you want to control people, you find something that everybody is afraid of and use that fear to control people. Many people don't lose their fear of hell because the indoctrination takes place usually at an early age, which is why religious ministries are VERY interested to "teach" young children, instead of letting them grow up first and making up their own mind with spiritual or religious path they want to follow.
For control, Hell works. Heaven works too, but fear is more persuasive than hope.
In the words of the 60s group Blood Sweat & Tears:
"I can swear there ain't no Heaven
but I pray there ain't no hell."
That about sums it up. Or in the words of Stephen Foster's "Old Man River" --
"I'm tired of livin' but scared of die'n"

I keep hearing people talk about hell as being not in the presents of God. The idea of God to me are simply the physical laws that govern the universe, maybe this hell they talk about is being in a place where their are no laws of physics, a place where everything happens at once, in a place like this the human mind would go insane, this would seem like hell to me.

I don't go for the whole Heaven and Hell thing. I think Hell was and is a scare tactic created by the church.

It isn't that we WANT there to be an eternal tormenting hell.
There just IS.
It is the extremes of Good and Evil. God in Heaven and Satan in Hell.
We don't get to choose to have it exist or not...

No one knows very much about hell. Do a word search in the Bible and read it all you wish-you can draw your own conclusions. From what I have readin the Bible-I do not desire to go.

No person on earth can give you the definitive answer that you are looking for. You already know what you wnat to hear. The only way for anyone to really know is to die.
