Do you believe in angels?
Have you had divine intervention which has resulted in your life being saved?
Have you had contact with your angel?
When you get to Heaven will God come to you saying "well done good and faithful servent", or will he pass you by to embrace your exhausted angel for keeping you alive to do His work ?
Serious question from someone who utterly believes.

I think that Christianity gets so messed up, bombarded with doctrines that the forget what being saved and in grace means..


Sometimes I just want to yell!!! Why does all the little things matter so much?

Can't we just be saved and walk righteous?

They are sad, angry, confused, frustrated and no matter what they do life just seems to get worse for them. When I look into their eyes, they look dead on the inside. I have several catholic friends and besides being catholic, this unhappiness is what they all have in common. I feel bad but I do not want to be in their presence anymore as it brings me down. What can I do.

Why r people so afriad of who they will affend if they say Merry Christmas!
I dont care if I affend people or not! I am not goin to let those that dont believe ruin it for me so I will keep on sayin Merry Christmas, wether people like it or not!!!!

I was the same bar a couple of weeks on Saturdays. I was sitting at the bar (as I came alone and didn't know any one there). One of the bartenders was trying to flirt with me both times. She had memorized my drink the second time and didn't charge for the first round. Was high-fiving me when her fav. songs were being played. Do bartenders generally do this just to get extra tips or was she hitting on me? I wanted to ask her out, but was a little hesitant because this is totally unchartered waters for me.

By the way, I did tip her, but only the normal amount I always do

When we do have scriptural evidence to back up our beliefs.

Example: Communion

We believe that the bread and wine are physically changed to the body and blood of Jesus. Why? Because Jesus said, "Take this all of you, and eat it, this IS my blood." Jesus would not have said "is" if it weren't true. This line is said in 3 of the 4 Gospels.

Honoring Mary:

We don't WORSHIP the Virgin Mary. We worship God, but we honor Mary as the mother of all Christians. We ask her to pray for us, much like you would ask a friend to pray for you. Jesus states to one of the Apostles that Mary was his mother, and to take care of her. Also, in Revelation, Mary was mentioned as a women clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars (she's in the sky).

Sacraments:

Many of our other sacraments are biblically referenced. Like the "Annointing of the sick". James says that we should call the priests of the church to "annoint them with oil"
