Amen!
I celebrate Christmas for it is the day that has been set aside to honor the birth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I will continue to say Merry Christmas, regardless what others say. I'm not going to say "Happy Holidays" just to please someone that does NOT believe in Christmas.
If they didn't believe in Christmas, then let them work through the season, instead of taking it off. You sure don't hear them complaining about having the day off from work. Wonder how many Christmas' they have literally taken part in?
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand....has anyone ever told you they were offended when you said Merry Christmas? I know that some stores had policies last year to use the all-inclusive Happy Holidays (which includes Christmas) instead Merry Christmas or any other holiday-specific greeting. However, those rules only applied to employees who were on-duty. Customers could certainly say whatever they wanted and off-duty employees were under no restrictions. So...where is this coming from?

Exactly, it's all about Freedom of Speech. I totally agree with you!
Therefore if you greet someone with a "Merry Christmas" and they respond with a cheerful "why don't you **** off and die?" it won't offend you or ruin your day because after all people shouldn't care when they offend other people and it's all about freedom of speech, right?
Merry xmas, by the way. Have a happy holiday season!

If you are Christian and proud of it, wish everyone a "Merry Christmas" or even better a "Blessed Christmas".
Although I'm personally not religious, I think Christians should live their belief and not be intimidated by non-Christians. We should be as accommodating to Christians as we are to those of other faiths.
But when addressing a person you know is of another faith, why not be considerate and say something like "Happy Holidays"?

People get offended when you say "Merry Christmas" when Christmas is not in their belief system. However, in our 'politically correct gone haywire' world we just need to step back and say what we feel and mean what we say.
Happy Holidays is the generic catch all we're steering clear of this year.
Merry Christmas !

I agree with you 100%, since when is saying Merry Christmas and actually celebrating Christ's birthday (which is what Christmas is about) politically incorrect. MERRY CHRISTMAS right back at you and thank you for your opinion.
