Here is a comment re. that "horse series" evolution found in most Biology books.

FEAR TO SPEAK—Even though scientists may personally doubt evolutionary theory and the evidence for it, yet publicly they fear to tell the facts, lest it recoil on their own salaried positions. One fossil expert, when cornered publicly, hedged by saying the horse series "was the best available example of a transitional sequence." We agree that it is the best available example. But it is a devastating fact that the best available example is a carefully fabricated fake.
"Dr. Eldredge [curator of the Department of Invertebrates of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City] called the textbook characterization of the horse series ‘lamentable.’
"When scientists speak in their offices or behind closed doors, they frequently make candid statements that sharply conflict with statements they make for public consumption before the media.

I noticed on Wikipedia that it is considered to be Halloween-related, yet I couldn't find anything in the lyrics that would begin to suggest that was the case. So how do they figure that one?

If I stole a gold candle-stick from a church, theoretically speaking of course, and I now felt guilty about it ( not that I do of course - cos I didn't steal it. ), should I just keep it or confess to Rev. Jones about it and ask for his forgiveness ? ( Not that I need to be forgiven cos I didn't do anything ) all theoretically speaking of course.

I was raised without religion (two atheist parents), but I want to get into it now, at age 14. Just got a copy of the Bible from a friend, but the writing is kind of dense, and there are parts I'm confused about. I really want to get familiar with the Bible, what should I do?

Also, are there Bible-for-kids kind of thing, or a Bible written in very simple terms? Would it be weird for me, at age 14, to read a Bible written for children?

Please advise!

Would it be wrong to revert back to it today? Do you think its evil? What does this say about Christianity? If Christianity was never introduced to our ancestors, we'd, more than likely, be practicing it today.

Your thoughts?

BTW - NO, I do not practice voodoo. It was just a thought.

There are actually supposed to be 12 million Christians in the middle East right now, but they were all killed off. First there was the Assyrian massacre, and then the Armenian one. There are 12 million Armenians and Assyrians in the world today. Also, about 165,000 people are killed every year for there faith in Christ. What is to be done about this?

CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida in Iraq's purported leader vowed on Friday that his fighters would never rest until they reach Jerusalem and blow up the White House. http://www.wzzm13.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=64787

Boy these people have 'purpose' dont they. Im so impressed with there reason for living and striving. How sexy it is to have an enemy. In fact, what could be more seductive to a younger man, who is denied sexual access (Islamic culture) otherwise and is just brimming with pent-up testosterone punped rage for the 'enemy' hes been told to hate since birth. Ah yes, what a great religion that one is...so neat.
