The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies! The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. At his command the oceans and rivers dry up, the lush pastures of Bashan and Carmel fade, and the green forests of Lebanon wilt. In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed. Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence. The LORD is good. When trouble comes, he is a strong refuge. And he knows everyone who trusts in him. But he sweeps away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He pursues his foes into the darkness of night.

My plans are to enroll into St.Joseph College Seminary in the fall of 2007 and begin studying for the priesthood. I have done serious discerning for about a year and feel this is where God wants me to be. I have also felt compelled to explore the prospect of priesthood since at least 8th grade. I fully intend on completing all four years of education at St.Joseph's while I continue to discern the call to the priesthood. Although I am very excited about college, the cost for four years at St.Joseph scares me (it’s about $130,000!!!!!). This extraordinary high cost is due to the fact that I'd be required to double major, i.e. studying Theology/Philosophy and Social Science Education (specifically European/U.S. History, and Sociology). Since I'm not rich at all, I'm going to need a lot of financial aid and scholarship money. Please give me any information that could help me. Thank You and God Bless You.

.....have problems/issues with people that are bi/gay? I saw a video on TV where this gay guy was watering his lawn, then his neighbor beat the sh*t out of him just because he was gay. Not everyone loves the opposite sex. Hey, I don't even know what I am.

Holy Bible says:-

A new command I give to you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34,35)

If You love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? I grew up saying the Pledge of Allegaince every morning at school. Not being religious, when they added "under God" I just did not say that part. I figure if I'm going to live here I should recognise the emblem of the USA. I am a native, part Cherokee, and thankful I live here. Women in many countries wouldn't be writing a question like this. They would risk death. And our government promises me I'll never have to belong to a religious group if I don't want to. So, why not salute the flag? It's not political, it's patriotic.

We have over 500 employees where i work at. and each department always has their own parties for the holidays. i work in HR so I get invited to a lot of the depts. parties. but there is this one girl that works with me in HR that always tags along eventhough i explained to her that they only invited me. On Tuesday, I got a postcard from my favorite teacher, Ms. Cody. It said - Hi Melissa ~ I am so happy to have you in class again this year! You are the best student anyone could hope for. Your future is bright! -Miss Cody.

What gets me, is I never, ever get anything like this unless I have done something almost equivilent. My friend says that it's nothing to question, it's just my favorite teacher sending her favorite student a postcard, maybe he's right, but what's your opinion anyway and how do I address this? do I send her something in return, I already thanked her in person... This doesn't happen everyday, you know!

Joseph Smith was very confused when he started the religion. I think you would have to be confused to follow him if you really study into who he was and how the religion came to be.
