Im no christian but do believe that he existed. Even some Jewish scholars claimed that he existed. But believed that he was a prophet of God and not the son.
In the passed 2 thousand years there have been many texts, books and whatnot written about Jesus. Some support the theory of his miracles and work, plus his resurrection. But of course there has also been debunks on some of the more miraculous things he did.
Personally it doesnt bother me, i actually find all historical facts about anything interesting. Of course Jesus is one of them. He was and still is one of the most controversial figures of the last 2 thousand years so i can commend him on that much!

I find it comical that people think that Jesus is nothing more than a myth. I mean, I can understand that people question his divinity, but to say that he just didn't exist is ridiculous. I had someone say to me that he thought that Jesus was a "character" who merely morphed from the Greek god Zeus. Yikes man!
Again I can understand the difficulty that some have in seeing him as divine. But you can't take away from the fact that Jesus was a man that walked this earth. His presence was documented historically in many books (even ones outside the bible... gasp!) and public record. I mean, there was kind of a ruckus going around his birth AND his crucifixion, so there is actually documentation surrounding these events other than the Gospels.

Yes Jesus was and has been provin to have lived, taught, killed and resurrected. This is excepted even by those who wish it weren't true.
Just read about Sir Lionel Luckoo. He is/was the most successful trial lawyer in the world. He's even listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as having the most wins under his belt. He was an atheist at one point and decided to put the life, death and resurrection of Jesus on trial. Well, with all of the overwhelming facts pointing to it's authenticity he concluded that it's so true that theirs no other event in world history which can compare to the evidence supporting Christ life!

Then, if you accept the fact that Jesus lived, then how do you explain that 11 of his followers risked their lives and changed the world, unless there was something dramatic to motivate them? The reason they did what they did is because Jesus was resurrected from the dead. That is why Christianity has been able to change the world throughout history.

I don't only believe that He lived - I believe that he lives. He totally changed my life, and I have met hundreds of others with the same testimony. As He said in the Book of Revelation Chapter 1 verse 17-18: "Do not be afraid: I am the first and the last, and the Living One; and I was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades (Hell)"

well I don't know many people who deny his existence totally
we do watch things and read things ..
but whether he was the Son of God or not is usually what many are in disagreement about
i wonder if you watch other things on discovery that are also fact though and how much of that you believe

Sweetie Jesus is real...Some of us has to see to believe....But Jesus tells us.. that to believe and not see....I am not quoting the Bible I am trying to explain as best as I can....To believe and not to see is something in our times....It is really a blessing in its self to believe in something you have seen....Jesus lives in your *heart*not your mind....He warns us of unbelievers....It is our minds that try to confuse us....So in your learning of Jesus ...Let it be a one own one relationship.....Meaning you and Jesus...Try it your self....Ask Jesus to allow you to understand ..Before you start to read anything about Him...And He will....Trust in your Heart for Him to lead you....One of the things I did was what ever I was needing I gave it to the Lord Jesus....No it did not happen right then...But I followed His instructions....Ask and you shall receive....But be patient in what you are asking off....Why because He is A busy Lord ....Because Their are so many... in ..much need ..more... than ours....Sometimes that is hard to see but it is true....Example the prayers for the HUNGRY and the SICK,, and Homeless And the children of the world that are being abused....Murdered...and so own and so own..So just be patient and He will show you a way ..That dose not mean you just sit down and let Jesus work by His self...We have to do our Part ....What He ask of us ...to love one another to help one another to pray together and I can go own and own....And you will Receive the many blessings That He has in store for you....God bless You through your Journey with The learning about our Lord...Reading this makes me fill hope for All..Pray always pray for your self and all others....Pray and keep faith and trust in Jesus...

It really doesn't matter whether he did or not at this point in history.
Incontrovertible proof could be found that he did, and there would be those who doubt the proof.
Incontrovertible proof could be found that he did *not* and there would be those who doubt the proof.
Moreover, whether he lived or not is not really the point of Christianity. I can agree that he may have lived, but I do not accept him nor believe him to be the messiah.
