um. I'm kinda busy trolling and lodging complaints against all who I think may have reported me.
But to give you a quick answer.
Christmas sucks no matter who stole it.

I have NO interest in doing that - they have their holiday, we have ours.

BTW, roaringlion, you're so very wrong about "Xmas".

"I used to think Xmas was just a shortened version of Christmas, which of course it really is, but I used to think somebody just took off the Christ and put an x. But it turns out it actually has a more ritual meaning than that. The letter X is really the first letter of the word Xtos, which in Greek is the word for Christ and so the Xros Mass actually becomes, Christmas or Xmas. Xmas is actually a Greek derivative. It was first used in the 18 and 1900s in the United States and then some people said, 'oh you shouldn't use that' because they thought is was a campaign to eradicate the real word 'Christmas'. But in reality it's really a very legitimate term that's used with the Greek Orthodox church."

Christmas was based off of christ. Although the date might be off but still. It's corporations that make it a joke. Come on, why the hell would you thank some fat, stuffed joke of a CHARACTER instead of J.C.? Santa is a pagan. Not Jesus. That's a FACT.

not even us pagans want to see that. we just want them to leave us alone. anyone can celebrate anytime that they wish to.

i will agree that the Yule holiday was in place for a few thousand years before Christ was even thought of. probally long before Aberham. and most of the customs and traditions that are now celebrated durring Christmas are ancient pagan customs.
personaly i love seeing the colture of my ancestors kept alive in the traditions of those that would call them evil.

for thoes that say that christmas is a completly christian holiday.

why would you celebrate the birth of a man.

that was born in a desert country.

in the fall while the shepards were in the fields.

by decorating an evergreen tree
in the middle of the WINTER.

and celebrate his death by decorating chicken eggs and hideing them around for children to find.

if you have ever wondered where the customs of Christmas and easter and Halloween come from they are all ancient Pagan customs. thank you for keeping them alive.

celebrate when you want to. but remember that the world is not yours for the taking.

That is the whole point of Christmas, Christ! That day is all about Him.It is not a pagan thing we celebrate,it is the birth of Jesus.

You can respect our right to worship the way we please and demand that in return we do the same for you.I am very sorry that you think that we stole it from you,but you do not necessarily have to celebrate Christmas as we do.

Sure. They have already done so effectively .
They call it X-mas.
Letter X in Mathematics refers to any unknown factor or number.

So you can substitute "X" with words like " pagan" or "atheist" or "osama ?" or whatever you can think of. Except it may not sound very nice . Christmas still sounds good to me.

Merry X-mas everyone! HO HO HO !!!

YOU CAN'T TAKE CHRIST OUT OF ANY THING IF HE DOESN'T WANT TO GO.
JESUS IS A GENTLEMAN HE WILL GO ONLY WHERE HE IS INVITED.
CHRISTIANS HAVE INVITED HIM INTO CHRISTMAS.SO HE WILL STAY.
IF ALL CHRISTIANS STOPPED SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS.
THE MALLS OF THE WORLD WOULD DIE.
THEY KNOW IT.
TRY TO REMOVE CHRIST OUT OF CHRISTMAS WATCH US STOP SHOPPING

Take it back. But hey, Jesus can't be taken out of our hearts. You can have your holiday. You can have your "Happy Holiday" ... because I'd rather celebrate Jesus everyday than to celebrate a day that has nothing to do with His "birthday" anyway.
