because i hear alot of people say you cant be a christian unless you go to church, and i get told that i cant be a wiccan unless i'm in a coven, and wicca is an initiatory religion so does this make christianity and initiatory religion?

i have just watched the da vinci code? and had a though the church (catholics anyway) admits mary magdalene but calls her a prosititute, wheras the secret they apparently try to cover up says shes was jesus's wife (companion at least)

surly a man who visits a prostitute is giving into the sins of the flesh and therefore a immoral man but a man who is married to that same person is not and therefore a good man, does the church really want us to belive jesus was a man who visited prostitutes regulary (she followed him around) would be arrested in the world today for soliciting.

please understand i do know that the film is fiction and is totally unprovable, but it does use facts at its base.

there was one other thing id like to know if mary magdalene is in the last supper then which disciple is missing?

2Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

Is this what we are beginning to see now with so many believers having a watered-down faith, and a Pollyanna view of God?

I was doing a study on people who don't wash their hands when they go to the bathroom...
09 of 10 Phillipinos wash their hands and flush toilet twice
09 of 10 Hispanics wash their hands "before" & "after"
03 of 10 Asians wash their hands and the rest take a wet paper into the bathrooms, those who took a paper didn't wash their hands.
3 of 10 White people didn't wash their hands at all, some of them didn't even use sit covers and some of them didn't even flush after them
Is it just me or why do you think americans are less careless of their health and putting other people at risk!?

I began a bible study recently with one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I asked the following question of which he could not answer. According to the New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version of the bible) John 1:1 states that Jesus is "a" god. John 17:3 states that Jehovah is the "only true God". Does this mean that Jesus is a false god, since there is only one true God?

We have to have Thanksgiving at our house and not a relatives' house. One Thanksgiving, my sister-in-law was planning to have ham instead of turkey! NO! NO! NO! Not in our house. It HAS to be turkey. The Cowboys game HAS to be on. The cranberry sauce HAS to come from the can. There has to be a veggie tray with green olives, black olives, celery and cream cheese etc. We eat at around noon also. One should wake up to the smell of the turkey in the oven already. There HAS to be so much food and so many different kinds that you can't get every kind of food on one plate and you have to go back for seconds. The eating lasts all day.
