But is he real? Interesting to see how many respondents are ready to say that those who think he is real are stupid. Why so angry?

I get annoyed because so many questions on here turn into someone preaching what they belive.

I have no beliefs in anything including God, Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny or the women actually belive they can drive well.

What others belive doesn't bother me so i don't spend time telling others how great it is NOT to belive.

How good it is not having to go to church and sing crap songs, how religion is currently ripping this country apart by creating division between cultures, how i think they are just wasting their life away by worshipping something that doesn't exist.

So why can't they just do the same?

(i expect that'll be yet another violation email on it's way to me)

It doesn't usually bother me, I think everyone is entitled to their own beleifs, but I get annoyed when other people don't respect that, if someone tries to shove their beleifs down my throat I say "Mary Shelley sat down one day and wrote Frankenstein off the top of her head, how do you know someone didn't do that with the Bible?" and "If God made the world in a week and Humans all came from Adam and Eve (of which there is no PHYSICAL proof), how do you explain the dinosaur bones they keep diggin up out of the ground?" One person who was trying to convert me actually said Dinosaurs weren't real they were science fiction! But usually the shut up! Its not that I don't beleive, I would like to beleive, I just need some proof to be absolutely sure but I do object to people who say this is what I beleive and you should beleive it to or you'll go to hell!

Just a little. People don't know anything about the cosmos we find ourselves in, so they make up stuff. This would be okay if were were all in Kindergarten playing in a sandbox, but here you have grown humans with weapons of mass destruction insisting theirs is the one true god. What happens when other grown humans with a potential of developing weapons of mass destruction, like those in Iran, insist that THEIR god is the one true god? Of course, the religious idiots on both sides don't even care about mutual assured mass destruction because they think they're going to "heaven" anyway. One side will say it's Armageddon and the Bible was right, and the other will be busy committing global suicide in the name of Allah. The rest of the world has to suffer and is endangered by grown humans that are still playing in a sandbox. This should scare you too. We can no longer afford to give tolerant lip service to this misguided mythical idiocy. This is why it should be annoying to every sane person on the planet. A bunch of suicidal fanatics that believe in life after death. Just because they believe it doesn't mean they're right. And their callous disregard of other humans that don't believe it is unconscionable.

One must never get angry when talking about God that would be
disgraceful to God. We are the children of God created in Gods
image and as such we should show at all times our Godly
capacity for tolerance, wisdom and intelligence. Getting angry
with someone just because they disagree with your opinion is
not something which honors God it only belittles you. We must
remember that if you stand on a corner and argue with a fool,
that to any bystanders they only see two fools arguing.

I got into an 'argument' last night talking about this with my g/f. I'm only angered or annoyed by what other people claim 'God' is.
So many people have empty answers, and questions with holes, and entire religions simply made-up, full of flaws and pure BS. And so many people eat it up and accept it.
I got criticized for 'coming down' on [a certain religion] and I realized how I should not be so hash. I should not slander or disrespect them, I should openly listen to and accept them, no matter how WRONG THEY ARE!

Hey
It makes me personal happy to talk about God.
But if Im seeing how some people are talking against God or against what people of God are shearing is making me sad.
But never a time is talking about God is making me angry because God is Love and not anger and if you want to live after his commandments you must follow the Character of him.

Both - depends on the context. If they are preaching stupid stuff about God and the "Babble" in general I get annoyed. If they are trying to bible thump me I get angry. Mostly I just feel sorry for religious people and their beliefs.

It makes me angry. The last person that tried to preach to me was warned once that I didn't wanna hear it. When he persisted on telling me that I should learn the word of god and that I was going to hell if I didn't, it kinda made me snap. So I shut his mouth for him. Ma be he will think of that before harassing someone next time.

Talk about God is all well and good, as long as nobody is jumping down anyone else's throat for difference of opinion. And nobody is trying to force others to believe a certain way.

Neither. I view it as an opportunity to share a different viewpoint. I went through a period of going to church on a very regular basis but, personally, I grew out of it. That does not mean I decry those who believe, that is their choice, I've moved onto a different value/belief/understanding level which suits me but as with many things in life..........there is no 'one size fits all' scenario.
