I'd like to know what that was for you.

For me it was last March. A man my Dad served with in the Army called me out of the blue and asked me if he could tell me about serving with my Dad. We met, he was my Dad's best friend for 2 years in South East Asia. The stories he told me were priceless...I drank them up like a thirsty dog. One Month later we went to the very spot my Dad died...words can not describe what that was like.

That was the BEST thing that has ever happened to me...because someone was thoughful enough to pick up a phone and share something with me I'll never forget.

what about you?

For example:

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

An “absolute truth” is possible in some areas, such as with respect to determining the shape of the earth (which, mind you, was debated long before any definitive proof was available), but not in the area of religion because the earth is a large mass with very definable properties and something that is a “matter of fact.” All the disbelief in the world won’t change that. But religion is a matter of faith, and that is something we all determine for ourselves…

Is it true that the Creator is not real and definable like the Creation, and that therefore we can shape Him into our own image…and that each one of us can be correct in doing so?

I believe the Spanish word for 'penalty' (as in Football)is 'penalty', as in English.
But what is the plural.(penalties).
I'd be most grateful for any help.

Remember the days when we were of for Christmas vacation (not winter break)? My son came home last year with color pages of a manorah (i know i mispelled that one) and pages representing kwanza. What happend to Baby Jesus in the manger??? Is this right? Shouldn't they do all religions or none? I'm deeply offended by this.....if it happens this year should I complain?
