GLBT is simply one way of saying non-heterosexuals. You'll also hear "Q" tacked onto the end of the acronym 'GLBT'. That can mean "Queer" i.e. not fitting or wanting to fit into any stereotypical categories, or it may mean "Questioning".

Sexual orientation and gender identity are much more fluid than people used to think.
