this is my story. i'm catholic and since i was a kid i never imagined i'd marry outside of my religion, until i met my husband- a wonderful man, who is a muslim but there's a downside, his parents (particularly his mother) is pretty mean to me. we've been married for 10 years now (by the way, we're both born and bred americans) and i've tried the "kill 'em with kindness" approach but nothing seems to work. she had her assumptions of what i was like before she met me and still hasn't let go of them. both of my parents-in-law constantly give me a hard time about not being muslim (and no, my parents don't do it to my husband. they accept the fact that he's muslim). they constantly accuse me of not being a virgin when i married him, i dress inappropriately (btw, his mom doesn't even wear hijab), etc. i'm seriously at the end of my rope and i don't know what to do. i love my husband but i can't take his parents anymore. i always respect them but they are still so mean to me. please help!

Why did Man says there is going to be a heaven after we die, when obviously there is not going to be one?

I keep worrying about death, at what age do a human normally die?

Especially since their text books have been proven wrong time after time... (magnetic poles, leap second, the burning of the Sun, the position of the moon, the rotation of planets and galaxies, their impossible geologic index, radiometric dating, and 5 of the six forms of evolution just to name a few..(after all micro-evolution is observable but a monkey never became a man.) and the Bible correctly stated more than 80 prophecies for Christ alone let alone the nearly 2500 year accurate statement of May15, 1948? (just for an example?)

it is sad that all religions think they are right and have the "truth"? That all other religions are false but their own? Obviously everyone can't be right. I think all religions should extinquish the "elitist" and the "I told you so" mentality. This to me just proves they are not real Christians. What do you think?

i just read a question where the questioner was trying to say that it was a talent and a skill.statements like that make me sick.because if i ever have a daughter (or son) i don't want them growing up in a society thinking its OK to be a prostitute.

when you end those ten years, you will be given 100 million dollars? Would you want be isolated from all of your family/friends? "Jesus" was in love with "Mary Magdiline", Who was appearently a prostitute. So I don't see any thing wrong with sex for money. Prostitution is a talent and in some cases a skill so why can't we use our "skills" to make money?
