I don't think so, I mean I am 23 and my partner is 37. a difference of 14 years. So I think you soul mate can be any age. The real question is how do you feel when with your soul mate?

First of all, searching for your 'soulmate' will likely only lead to disappointment. You are much more likely to find happiness if you can find someone who likes you as much as you like him/her, and someone who genuinely makes you laugh. It's helpful if you share deeply held values, as well. These may be based on a shared religion, a common background (where you grew up), or shared interests, though many people from wildly different backgrounds do find happiness together. Relationships based on the fantastical desire to find a soulmate rarely last, regardless of any age difference (or similarity).
What is difficult about having a relationship with someone who is not close to you in age, is that it's harder to find a basis for this shared view of the world. Someone born in 1988 may have a very different view of the world than someone born in 1958.
But it does happen. Some young men and women actually prefer older (and sometimes wiser) mates. Be prepared to question why this is - and be prepared to defend that choice, because not everyone sees age the same way as you may.

expensive Kim, you have spoken approximately soulmate and that i desire the definition of soulmate is sparkling to you. i do no longer attempt to evangelise you right here yet placed the reality as this is. the guy double your age knows your heart and responds subsequently. I comprehend he has no longer married yet has 2 childrens and now maintains to be separated from his previous so called (love/ female chum/chum/spouse). the different woman in his life ought to have felt comparable to you do now, interior the start of their courting. yet sadly! If he has no longer shown his faithfulness to a minimum of one then I doubt he might proceed with yet another so called (soulmate). while you're keen to take the undertaking and placed your self into trial of 'soulmate faithfulness verify', you could gain this. yet i for my area sense, you need to heavily think of two times until now you devote. regardless of if age won't be a difficulty in a marriage yet character of a individual does count selection. desire you will take a smart determination to have a appealing destiny interior the days to return.

NO! I think soul mates are exactly that....Mates by the soul. Some people think that just because you are a different age, sex, color that you cant love someone of a different age, sex, color. You cant help who you fall in love with. Its hard enough to be happy, if you find someone who makes you feel that way all the time...Enjoy it!

You mean are they close to the same age? I never thought about that, seems like they'd be within 5 years of each other I guess. Supposedly age doesn't matter.... but if the younger person is still a minor it does.

No. Age is physical, the soul is ageless.
If you choose someone based on age, class, race, gender, anything really, you are making a practical choice with your mind, not your soul.

No. I was in a relationship with my soul mate, who was 20 years my senior. Physical age has nothing to do with it.

No, and there's no one to say that you only get one soulmate in a lifetime.
