amazing huh? go figure...live your life by a book rewritten by a selfish money craving man thousands of times over again, and you are now thinking your better off dead?
listen...i say...drop your church, drop your religion, and start realising that YOU control your life and YOUR can live it however you want to...as long as your not hurting or killing or getting ****** up on dangerous drugs...fine! you rin the here, now...stop trying to follow a BOOK...might as well be following dr.sues books these days.
seriously...consider the THOUSANDS of bibles produced every day? consider the tons of corrupt men out there who have "served in the name of the lord"
cmon now...grow up! move on....live YOUR life

How would NOT believing leave you any better off? Is God the reason your life sucks? Or are you the reason your life sucks? Am I the reason? Is Jean Luc De Fuquoa to fault? King Mofongo? How old are you? probably not even 17 yet. You are so young. Things will ge rougher as life goes on, but your perspective of what is happening determines your happiness. Your perspective is that God is not rewarding you for your pious behavior. Yet, you seem to go to church so that you may be pleased in life, not that you may please God in life.

Seek God's will, and ask him for the ability to align your will with his.
That is, I seek and hope in God alone, and therefore "my way" doesn't even enter into the equation anymore. I trust that God, who has all power and who is good, has got it all under control. And that my rewards are not on this earth.
If you are looking for rewards on this earth, and you find that you have few, then you are not seeking God's will.
I would suggest--in addition to seeking God's will for your life--that you ask him to teach you how to be grateful for what you do have, which you seem to be overlooking. Are you not fed? Clothed? Sheltered? Warm in the winter? Are not your needs attended to, in addition to some wants? If you have a refrigerator, e.g., you are wealthier than 75% of the people on the globe. Are you not grateful? If you aren't, you are doing something wrong, and God will continue to attempt to humble you, as God does oppose the proud.

Things are not suppose to go your way and if you were a Christian you would know this. We are to live our lives for Jesus and let Him lead and guide us then we will have every thing we need to get through this life. Go to Romans 10:9-13, follow the instructions and mean what you say and I guarantee things will begen to look up for you

wow. well i can definitely relate to how you're feeling. but not the "better off dead" part. it sounds like you need a renewal. try reading velvet elvis by rob bell. it's a great book that will get you thinking about faith and things like that. i hope you can get out of this rut that you're in!

you will be told that god sends these things to try us!
death is not an answer to life though! life is life, if it fairness you're looking for, forget it!
someone once said to me, ' I didn't ask to be born ' and I replied ' join the club '

Hey, church & God aside, if you truly feel you would be better off dead, please go to your doctor and ask for help.

I just figure when it doesn't go my way, God is teaching me something. Endurance is tough sometimes, and I believe there is a greater eternity ahead.
