It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty Jehovah by the impersonal term "God", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Child". If we want a familiar and close relationship, however, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.

The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.

The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".

(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth

(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

Jehovah is the one true God.
(John 17:3, Ps 83:18)

God is a title and can mean many different gods.

Baal, a god, when translated into English means Lord

Moses is called God to Pharaoh, but Moses is not Jehovah.

John 1:1, 2 says that the word was with God (Jehovah)

and the word was a god, or the nature of God (Jehovah) Heb 1:3, says that Jesus is the exact representation of Jehovah (God)

Satan is referred to as "the god", who has blinded the eyes of unbeilievers so that they can not see the glory of Jesus, who is the image of God (Jehovah)

If we believe that Jesus is more than an image we have fallen in Satan's trap.

Judges 13:21,22 calls the angel of Jehovah, God, but this angel is not Jehovah.

He is not a false god, because the angel and Moses represented Jehovah, as Jehovah's spokesman.

Jesus is a god because as the Word, he is Jehovah's spokesman.

God, Elohim, Lord, El, Almighty are titles discribing qualities of Jehovah.

Yes, according to the King James version of 1611. Read Exodus 6:3; Psalms 83:18. Or, look at the back if it has concordance for the name of Jehovah.

Yes they are. Actually, the name Jehovah is an anglicized form of the Hebrew word, spelt only in consonants: YHVH. Some say "Yahveh", some say "Jehovah". The Old Testament Jews wrote Hebrew without vowels, and since the Jews of a later date were reluctant to pronoucne the name of God out loud, we have never been able to find out how they pronounced it.
A careful study of the Old Testament texts will bring you to see the close identification of YHVH to Christ of the New Testament. Yes, He is God.

Jehovah is a name of God. As is Krishna, Allah and Rama etc. So yes . Christ is the son of God and the holy ghost is God in the heart of Christ speaking through him. The son never becomes God. He is empowered from within the heart. God is situated in every ones heart but we may not see Him due to illusion. go to www.essene.org for the original teachings of Christ go to www.stephen-knapp.com for universal teachings

Nope.

God is god the father, eloham, heavenly father.

Jehovah is his son. Christ, Jesus.

Look it up in the bible... Jehovah prayed to god. God certainly wasn't praying to himself!!

They are two seperate beings. God and Jesus.
