Really I do take offense at his statements I am raising two grandchildren that are half black and his statements make the hair on my neck bristle!

Ignore him! Empty vessels make the loudest noise. He is seeking attention, probably because he is such a sad, pathetic and lonely individual (and no wonder). Don't give him the attention he so obviously desperately craves.
