Really. Has anyone come back from the dead and told you about it personally?

This is a real question.

That people who have past are not in heaven or hell, they are in a waiting place until the judgement day and then God will decide if we go to heaven or hell.

This is one of the purpose driven questions, why are you here, what will you do with this gift called life. How will or do you spend your time on Earth? Use religion, cooking books... ect. to give your reasons, if you believe you even need or have a reason.

If you look at my ID here on Yahoo you will see that I am a United States Army Military Police Soldier.

I will soon no longer be one.

Within the next few weeks I will be transitioning out of the Army.

When I do, I will no longer have a job or a home.

The conversion van I’m having re-built is about 2 months past due on completion.

I will most likely have to live out of that van with my cat.

I have already had to live out of a conversion van once before when I was 31 – 32 while going through a divorce and bankruptcy for over a year just outside the city of Detroit, Michigan so this, unfortunately, is nothing new for me.

It took a long time after that for me to sleep easily because you wake at the slightest sound never knowing if someone may try to break into your vehicle and harm you when they find you.

I still sleep with a pistol under my pillow.

With this question I don't mean to offend anybody. Offensive behaviour is not even in my nature. Sure, I question religions, I have no faith in God, but I have sincere questions about the Bible. This question is one of them. I hope you won't take any offense to this question, as it is not intended to do that.

Rats, now I forgot what I wanted to ask. That always happens, the disclaimers that are needed on this forum before people understand that a questioner is truly curious, takes away too much time and space. *sigh*

Which brings me to the real question I wanted to ask: What is the value of a Q&A forum, when the basic assumption of the answerer is that almost any question is meant to offend?

Do you believe in the power of prayer? Are the results multiplied when there are many people, all with the same intention, praying at once? Thank you for your responses.

I happen to like half shirts on guys a lot but when I checked through Yahoo Answers for "half shirts" questions I was stunned by the responses, ranging from eye-rolling to outright homophobia.

When did the bare midsection get to be exclusively a female thing? Both guys and girls have midsections and both can be attractive - in different ways, of course (c'mon ladies ... you know you've stolen looks at those beefcakes' abs as they walk along the beach or at the park).

I know that fashions go through cycles - for men as well as women - but I never understood why half-shirts faded as they did. Was it because, all of a sudden, with gays' increasing visibility politically as well as in the movies & TV that guys - suddenly - didn't want to risk looking feminine somehow?

I bet $100 that if Abercrombie & Fitch made half shirts for guys popular again, they'd come back. (No, not for macho types affected by "gay panic".)

Its a lovely story (in parts anyway) but nobody really knows the truth, its simply not possible to unless you have died, and come back again...(im just gonna get inundated with these people now arnt i!!!) So whats it all about?? Just who is qualified to say anybody is wrong? and how??

Will Jesus come back down with the holes in his hands and the cut in his side, or without the scars of Crucifixion, or with a Hebrew name?

Will Jesus come back down wearing the same clothes he wore when he left or will he be dressed like Usama or Billy Graham or George Bush or naked like Zeus the Sky God?

Will Jesus come back down as a Jew-for-Jesus or a Muslim-for-Jesus or a born-again-for-Lord-Jesus or as a priest or as a Christian?

The five Eucharistic Mysteries:
The Wedding Feast at Cana
The Feeding of the Multitude
The Teaching on the Bread of Life
The Passover of our Lord
The Road to Emmaus

reflect the ultimate and eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ:
Abel offered a lamb to God and later John the Baptist said, “This is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world.”
Abraham was going to faithfully offer his only son when an angel of God stopped him, he sacrificed a sheep God provided.
At Passover Moses had lambs sacrificed that had to be eaten with unleavened bread.
Then the Israelites ate Manna in the desert that they did not recognize and Moses told them “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.”
