You could say you were the LAST Prom Queen from that school, but unless you have to pass along the Crown and Sceptor ceremoniously, your duties end after the Last Dance.
However, if you wanted to you could be in a local parade, on the back of a convertable waving to well wishers, as the last prom queen... as a humorous thing... you're about 70 years old, right?

No she's not the prom queen but she's a prom queen. High school prom royalty is not that big deal. I'm not sure if you could put that on an average resume or job application.

Yes and no. she will always hold the title of THAT YEAR's prom queen. You can't take that away. She'll always be prom queen of that year, but not all the other years. Just like Bill Clinton will always be a President of the United States. I mean, not anymore, but we still have to address him as President.

She is prom queen for 1953 for the rest of her life. Nobody can take it away from her because it is written in the history books.
Her current title would be "former prom queen" I think.

No she is the "Doweger,Queen Empress" and will be entitled to be entombed at the National Cathedral in Washington, but only after she dies. But as "DQE" she is allowed to pitch a tent and hold court on the White House lawn until her demise.
