Black Bouquet for Halloween?

Okay, I'm going as a sorta evil/dead bride and need some ideas for a bouquet...if anyone has any homemade ideas over something store bought that would be great, or even something different and original...if worse comes to worse I'll spray paint some silk flowers but hoping to just use some around the house stuff! I know theres some creative types out there!

I'd suggest going to a store like Michael's were you can probably pick up fake black roses (at a low price) for a bouqet. I think that a white bride's dress, probably a little dirty and a smudge a blood and holding a black bouqet of roses looks pretty damn good. Good luck with that!

I'd stick with spray painting the silks... if you're handy, you can make roses out of rolled up paper & wrap in a small black trash bag for a holder, or black lace. But the silks will look nicer...

you could also carry a small book with a cover that sez "Book of the Dead" in black - decorate with ghost shapes, etc. from your computer - kinda like a prayer book

it seems so obvious that i am not sure to say it since ya might have thought it and dismissed it already...but. Dead dried flowers. Go to a local flower shop/ grocery store and just see if they have anything they are going to toss and get it for free. wrap the bottom in a fun black/halloween ribbon and hang them upside down to dry- that way they stay true to form and don't droop. Then when they are dead and dried you could always spray some of that colored hair spray on it/ or spray paint whatever and so on and so on

They sell black silk roses w/ droplets of "water" on them... very realistic! They're sold individually for a little over a dollar each. They can be found in the Halloween section of Kmart, Walmart, Big Lots, Michaels, etc. Good luck!
