I didnt (couldn't) go this year, on account of being in Australia, but want to go next year and would like to hear any "interesting" stories about people's experiences of this event.?

I was once cornered by a Christian woman doing a street survey on religion in my university city. I told her honestly what I believe (I am a witch, practicing a solitary form of Wicca) and she harangued me about it and told me I was going to hell once I died, even though I explained to her I do not believe in hell either. If you have experienced hostility against you for your religious beliefs, how have you dealt with it?

your life and your family? If you haven't heard it or don't remember it, then look it up. It's very touching, and a good reminder for all of us. After not talking to my father for about 4 years, I heard that song one day and made up my mind that I was going to call him. Despite our differences. I didn't know what to expect, but it didn't matter. One of us was going to have to STAND UP and do the RIGHT thing. Well, we talked for longer than we ever did. And neither one of us brought up the past. I developed the best relationship that I ever had with my father after that day. And a few years later... . he died. And I was with him when he died. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ for opening my eyes. Share your story if you like.... . . and if you haven't listened to that song yet. .. make it a PRIORITY. Your life may change, if you listen as well as you hear. .. . . What do you think?

WHY SO MANY PPL FEEL IT'S NECESSARY TO DO MY HEAD IN WITH ALL THIS RELIGION THING ON HOW I SHOULD REPENT TO BE FORGIVEN, AND WHEN I ASK THEM THEY SAY IS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT ME TO GO TO HELL(IN WHICH I DON'T AND WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN), AND WHEN I TELL THEM TO PLEASE LET ME BE AS I AM A NON BELIEVER THEY SAY THAT I DO NOT BELILEVE NOW BUT ONE DAY I WILL... I FIND THAT TERRIBLY INSULTING.

I DO NOT GO AROUND TELLING YOU GUYS WHAT TO BELIEVE IN AND FILL YOU IN WITH MY OWN IDEAS THAT IS INSULTING. DON'T YOU THINK THAT YOU GUYS SHOULD TONE IT DOWN?

Do you think perhaps that love is a verb not a state of being? A lot of people say love comes and goes in a marriage, but is that just the passion of the relationship? Perhaps that feeling of love is connected with our actions?

I ask this because I was told an interesting story the other day.....

A women goes to her friend the who happens to be a lawyer. She tells him she wants to get a divorce but she wants to hurt her husband as much as possible before she does. The man tells here ok here's what you do. Go back to your house and act like you love him. Make him his favorite dinners, get him a beer without asking, give him random kisses, and tell him you love him everyday. Do that for about a month and then just randomly tell him you want a divorce. It'll crush him. The woman agrees and they go their seperate ways.

Three months goes by and the lawyer gets no word. He gives the woman a call and asks her about the divorce. She asks "What divorce? I love him!"

truth?

Is it because they are exposed to so much violence that they are becoming numb to it? or is it lack of parents teaching them ways to handle situations. Or just lack of Christion morals?

Is it about always doing what they say? Is it about doing what they want? Is it about supporting them financially? Is it about maintaining a good public image?

Is it about our earthly parents, or is it Father God and Mother church, or is it both of these answers?

Scripture References welcome!! Thanks for your thoughts!

each is fully divine in nature, but each is not the totality of the Trinity
so does this mean the Trinity was incomplete when Jesus(pbuh) died for three days?

John 13:5
He began to wash the disciples' feet.

"The Lord Jesus loves His people so much, that every day He is still doing for them much that is analogous to washing their soiled feet. Their poorest actions He accepts; their deepest sorrow He feels; their slenderest wish He hears, and their every transgression He forgives. He is still their servant as well as their Friend and Master. He not only performs majestic deeds for them, as wearing the mitre on His brow, and the precious jewels glittering on His breastplate, and standing up to plead for them, but humbly, patiently, He yet goes about among His people with the basin and the towel. He does this when He puts away from us day by day our constant infirmities and sins." --Spurgeon's Morning and Evening

JUst wondering. We all know why most choose to be morally correct, because of their faith or their fear of eternal damnation, but how do atheists practice morally correct conduct when they dont have a faith or a god. Is this what bothers most orthodox religions when it pertains to atheists who can still be god like?
Just wondering no offense to anyone, but I wondered?
