I going now ...enough A&Q for today...for those staying...try to understand the points of view people are stating. Don't answer the stupid ones, try to be positive, answer best you can. I have racked my brain today, answering crazy questions...the easier ones were so much simpler...so maybe try to answer ones that can help. I'll be here later i am sure...we all come back....so have a good day...be safe...say your prayers...and help those in need. k good night.

Iv'e been reading articles in the newspaper for the last few days about the "muslim veil contoversy". What exactly is going on because I read today that the risk of Muslims rioting in the streets of London is quite high (Like in Paris last year). Is this true or is it being overblown?

I think we would all agree that these are the only one's we have in the English language '2', 'to' and 'too'. So how would I write the question "There are three types of (two, to, too) in the English language". Which (two,to,too) do I use in this case?

Wh are people frm alla faiths gunning at each other's religion, ok i know people from all relgions are doing bad but that dont mean we have to follow suits, people will be judged at jugdment day, all relgions have peace and some meaning, othwise there would'nt be so much following and surving till this day, no religion is bad , no relgion preaches hate, its just some uneducated, racist, nonbelivers, facists ignorant people who stir up, ok there are lot of things happening in the world and Islam comes into it, but that does not mean Islam is doing this, the relgiion preches preace for god sake, if anything those peole who use religion to fight and cause trouble are not relgious people, they are not even humans worth accepting religion, they are outcasts, rejects and unforutuntely relgion takes the blame, if Islam is so vilotent why are the so many converts, (this is to those who crictise) why do so many people from all walks of life convert to the relgion, so please stop cursing relgion

Erm...anything especially if it scares adults. Can be true or fictional. Ones with monsters that aren't heard of that often appreciated.

on top of that, never said anything to the offending party. I got upset, because I felt he didn't do anything to resolve the situation, and when I asked to talk to someone above him, he blew me off and told me that no one could be reached and that "he'd have him call me". He says he's gonna do a lot of things which he never does. He's a horrible excuse for a manager, and well...I ended up raising my voice to him and saying some things an employee probably shouldn't say to their supervisor. However, he didn't do his job. Anyway, I got in trouble and was told to NEVER raise my voice to management, and that *I* would be given "one more chance". Was I REALLY in the wrong or was my boss?
I was being harassed and discriminated against by 2 fellow coworkers because of my assumed sexual orientation. They kept making gay jokes and comments to me and I'm not even a gay man. Oh, and to this day, the 2 guys that did this, have not recieved a "talk" at all, like I did.

I am wearing a simple but elegant victorian lace dress, and am fine with my fiance wearing a rock t-shirt as long as it is dressed up. I am looking for style advice on what look would better...a suit or blazer w/jeans. What he is going for is a hip rocker look and not grunge. I appreciate kind feedback and know that we are both celebrating this day as we want with each others blessing. I have no problem with the t-shirt (as he wants to wear it under a jacket).

I Look at it this way, I tell my kids all the time, DON"T talk to strangers, DON'T take candy or gifts from strangers, DON'T go to strangers houses. But it's OK to do that one day a year on Halloween? I don't let my kids go trick or treating, instead I buy them the candy and rent scary movies and have a great Hallows eve here at home, is this a wrong thing?

I just read a story on the news about how children have been 'Demonised' by the press and the media and some woman from a childrens charity more or less saying that 'hoodies' and meeting up on the street are a normal part of growing up. I have never read so much hogwash in my entire life, she is more or less saying that the yob behaviour that have earned the majority of these people the tag of 'chav' or 'ned' is OK and that we are being unfair on them. Why can't these 'do goodie' idiots keep their woolly liberal thoughts to themselves instead of being part of government think tanks, I believe it is this sort of irresponsible attitude that is responsible for the rise in 'Yob Culture', no one dares tackle what is a serious problem, kids nowadays seem to think they can do as they please and no-one should dare stop them. The accident that claimed the life of the London toddler last week is a fair example of what happens when you let kids do what they like unchecked. Does anyone agree?

Do you think that people who take part on programmes like Jeremy Kyle,Oprah, Trisha are really genuine? I cannot understand when both parties are at loggerheads that they BOTH can be persuaded to come to the studios and have their lives exposed in such a way! Does money drive them or what?

A. The right lane, cause you take things slow, and you don't mind following other people?
B. The center lane, cause you're somewhere in the middle and can go either way. You're just neutral?
C. The left/passing lane, cause you live fast and hard, and you don't like following nobody?

You all will say God is not a human, but your language defies you. You speak out of both sides of your mouth. You say God is not an inpersonal force; that's fine. You say masculine pronouns convey that God is a person. That's fine, but you run roughshod over those who do not have that presupposition to read into your language every time you use it. Just say "God" and let that be enough.

I have a couple of gay friends. When they lived here, we went out a lot and I always had a lot of fun with them. (So much so that one night I peed my pants laughing! But that's another story.)

They moved out of state years ago, and I miss their company.

I remember that they hated to use the term "straight" when giving directions. If I would say something like, "You go straight at the stop sign and turn right at the second light," I would be "corrected" by one of them who would say, "Nope. You go FORWARD at the stop sign and turn right at the second light." Nothing was ever "straight ahead." It was always "forward and onward" or something like that.

Was this just some quirky nature of my friends, or do a lot of the gays and lesbians have this same idiosyncrasy?
