There seems to be a lot of ancient symbolism related to the number 7. My lucky number is 25 though.

Because in dice 7 has the most possible outcomes (6 ways to roll it), therefore making it the "luckiest" number because it is most likely to appear.

When playing craps, 7 wins.

7 is also an often used Bibilical number, sort of the anti 6 which is seen as an evil number (666). (God created the world in 7 days, Seven Seals of Revelation, Seven Deadly Sins, etc.)

7 has also been lucky in Japanese culture for a long time.

Seven is seen as a "perfect" number because it works mathmatically very well, both in being added/multiplied and made from smaller numbers. It is the second "lucky number" according to Mathematics . (American football uses 7's for example to keep score.)
