--Is Catholic--

If you are not admitted to seminary, it is not possible to take the actually training courses where you get hands on treatment on how to say Mass, etc. However, it is fully possible to take all the theology courses and catechetical/pastoral courses and most if not all seminaries offer these classes to all who would like to attend.

It is possible for a man to be admitted to seminary, take all the classes, but not be ordained a priest, either due to his own decision or by the Church eventually refusing to ordain him.

There is no "priest course", there is the Seminary, where young men who believe that they have a vocation attend, and it takes several years. And you could attend and then change your mind about becoming a priest. If I were you, I would go talk to my parish priest.

While I don't know of any seminaries who except non-seminarian students, there are TONS of programs and classes out there for people to study the same topics & concepts. There are several different kinds of degrees in theology, liturgy, pastoral practices, catechetics, sprituality, biblical studies, etc. Also, most dioceses have programs that are geared for your everyday "person in the pews."
