Eid Mobarak, buddy. I'm really happy, this Ramadan was very special.
Eid prayer has 2 rak3aas and it is done about an hour AFTER the dawn prayer.
Try to make it to the mosque because It's not proper to do it at home. I'm positive about that.

Eid mubarak!

Salatul Eid is two rak3a, with seven takbir in the first, and five in the second.
I don't know if it is required to attend the Eid prayer, or if it is permissible to perform it at home, but why miss out? I'd drive hours if I had to because I wouldn't want to miss the essence of Eid and the aura of the prayer. I even recommend non-Muslims to attend just to get a glimpse of the beauty of the whole day.

asalaamu alaikum brother,

I found a few fatawah in regards to the sunnahs of eid salaat.

pls note that, via reading a fatwa about women attending eid salaat, the scholar states that eid salaat is not legislated (i.e. it wont count) unless your in jam'ah (a formal congregation).
I assume this is the general consensus amongst all Muslim scholars...

Additionally brother,
If you dont reside in a area with a large Muslim community -irregardless of where in the world you are-and if your in the USA for example, most places have a masjid, even if its quite rural, or a small muslim community...so, if you can, try to get to a masjid...even if its a hours drive away.

Also, you need to pay zakat'ul fitr...so find a halaal method of doing so if your not going to pray in jamah.

en'shallah this is of help

yes u can pray at home if the mosque are far away
well, islam is easy n comfortable! remember that
the reasons y it is reccommended for us to go pray in mosque because the idea is to make muslims make friends with each other, and discuss on how to improve our life, both in this world, or after the world here after
insyaallah!

It's 2 rak3aa

it's not obligatory to pray it if you can't...Islam is indeed merciful on it's followers

you can't pray it at home, even if you were a group
