I am wearing a simple but elegant victorian lace dress, and am fine with my fiance wearing a rock t-shirt as long as it is dressed up. I am looking for style advice on what look would better...a suit or blazer w/jeans. What he is going for is a hip rocker look and not grunge. I appreciate kind feedback and know that we are both celebrating this day as we want with each others blessing. I have no problem with the t-shirt (as he wants to wear it under a jacket).

I think both would be fine.
But I'd say a hip suit would match your dress better. Maybe a white suit with tight pants and a jacket with large lapels (think 60s mod suits)? That would go really well with a black t-shirt. This combo could easily be worn with sneakers or boots for a cool and hip look.

Blazer with jeans should be just fine...but for a kick, suggest a full tux - minus the ruffled shirt, with the cool rock shirt instead! I guess you'd have to ditch the cummerbund, also...just the shirt and tux suit! Good luck, and bless you! Have a blast!
